I'm sorry, I forgot to add that part to my post.

Just add [BOILING_POINT:0] and they should instantly boil away.

There could be the side effect of having this happen to all items made of stone as well, though, but I'm not sure about that.

I normally progress only very slowly because I mine one 'plan' out, get rid of ALL the stone, and only when that's done start mining again.

But it's extremely timeconsuming.
You can also dump your stone in magma/quantum holes/chasms/garbage-disposal-dwarf-atom-smashers.

You can send an animal trapper from the kennels with the 'Capture Live creature' command, or you can put an animal trap in their vicinity, stuff some bait into it and wait for the maggot to be captured.

I also read something about only untamed 'live' purring maggots supplying you with milk, and I know that any dwarf passing by your maggots may decide to eat them.

14. Sacrifices to the gods in any random magma pit.
15. A way to give any noble an 'unfortunate accident'.
16. A great way to 'dispose' of hippies.

Thilsegavuz "Tarnishmined" a Zinc Spear

This is a Zinc Spear. All craftsdwarfship is of the highest quality. It is decorated with goblin bone and encircled with bands of Fortification agate. This object menaces with spikes of Zinc. 8,400db.

I had Iron and Steel bars, but no Mr. Weaponsmith wants Zinc. It isn't bad, and he did get legendary from it so I can make better stuff, it just isn't as good as it could have been, especially since Mr. Weaponsmith likes Steel (and Spears)...

You should have forbidden all the other metals in his vicinity.
So it's entirely your fault, as dwarfs, those 'intelligent' little fellows, need 'some' guidance.

I taught myself the game using a tutorial (only partly), then experimenting and consulting the wiki.

Most of the things I now understand.

Also; I tend to explain the Z-level system by taking houses as an example. ('Every 'Z-level' is like the stories in your houses. So that window would be one Z level higher than that one.') - Most of them get it.

Unfortunately the graphics, even the Mayday tileset, turned them off.

A kobolt bone ring, later stolen by a kobold.

It's been quite some fortresses ago, so I'm not sure what it was worth anymore.

I do know that some dwarf had decided to carry it outside and leave it there.

You could also make immense amounts of mastercraft crossbows, along with lots of mastercraft steel bolts, then to put weapon traps completely filled with crossbows throughout your entire fortress (and outside map).

Why not catch the werewolf or a goblin of some kind and then designate it as a pit zone.
Simply drop in the beast and laugh as they wrestle each other in a 1x1 battleground.

After all, the definition of 'fun' is relative. I, personally, would love radiation poisoning or any other way to kill dwarfs or other living beings.

After all it'll add another way to kill creatures.

I myself am all for stating opinions, but I also think you shouldn't quite overdo it. (Of course I must admit that I've got a knack for overdoing my own, but I'm doing my best to watch that knack.)
