Depends if it is happening in the same time frame. Remember, John was also pestering Rose when she was talking to Scratch and Jade, and found out about her mother. Their flights might not be happening at the same time.

Hey, is anyone else thinking about possible alchemy combinations involving the Tumor? Some weapons created by combining things with the Tumor would be kinda cool. Unless they detonate when the Reckoning ends too.
