Wait, Equius 'became' the void? Did I forget something about his story?
Also, heir of doom would not be a fun title to have.

He was supposed to, but most of the trolls apparently never achieved their full potential so it's hard to say if Equius ever "became the void" aside from the puns, at least to the extent that John has "become breath". John is also god tier, so that might have something to do with the extent of becoming breath.

I asked someone about Krypton and this is what I got out of it.

"Krypton is a non-toxic gas that reduces the amount of oxygen in the air. It has a 7 times greater chance of putting you out cold than normal air. In the conditions 50% Krypton and 50% normal air, 10% would be oxygen and you won’t be able to breathe very well, then shrivel up like a prune and die."


Xenon(Jake's Planet) is also a potent anesthetic. Which might explain the tattoo he has. At high enough(80% to 20% oxygen) is how much you need for it to work like an anesthetic, so most of the other gasses are breathable at much lower amounts of Krypton. That is if they're breathing oxygen at all while in the game.

Some of the other gasses are pretty bad if you're breathing much larger amounts than for Krypton, but Krypton itself is deadly at lower amounts so that's probably why they have gas masks.

Great update. Really loved the randomly thrown in Trolls on the two teams too. I was actually missing Equius. Seeing Kankri in a bloody straitjacket was pretty nice too.

Do replicates spread like vampires, aka through blood?  Cause I just had my security chief execute one and when I wasn't paying attention he went and washed off all the blood into the well....

Well if that's your only water supply you're going to have a lot of replicants on your hands.

( I wonder how many peasants it would take annually to feed a fort of 53 replicants?)

Thanks Deon. You have no idea how helpful that is. Seriously I didn't know that was even an option on DF. I assumed everyone else was just running on super computers.

Also as for Replicants. Do they suffer from the Vampire hunger issue where they eventually become slower and slower as time goes on?

Also just had my first encounter with Night Gaunts, so here's hoping that more Lovecraftian monsters decide to attack me on the South Pole! Also I just found out that my civilization's symbol is apparently two dead children.

There's only one surefire way to catch all of the replicants. After you get one, put them in a well of water and stab them repeatedly. Pretty soon everyone will be replicants and you won't have to worry about killing the wrong guy.

Maybe by then they'll elaborate a bit more on some of the more esoteric class and element combinations.
