Comparatively… that's what matters.

Give a BC a Adi. Greataxe and he'll cut the hands and feet off of any number of BCs carrying any weapon of any material other than Adi.

But other than that scenario, I've never seen a BC actually take damage that wasn't caused by temperature.

Akigagak mentioned "heavy weaponry (Lead, Gold, Platinum, etc)" can kill a Bronze Colossus.

This is I'm guessing attributed to the fact that weapons are practically impervious to damage(afaik), and now in the new version have weapon damage is affected by weight.

I'd test this myself before posting this thread, but… I'm not the exactly greatest empiricist.

Do the following contradict each other or overlap? I'm not a moder, so what seems odd to me may still actually be necessary for some function. It just seems that if the creature has a brain, it wouldn't need the no_though tag. Then again, this may allow them to keep moving even if the somehow lose their brain...

   [NO_THOUGHT_CENTER_FOR_MOVEMENT]


Without tendons and nerve tissue, no.
Would be redundant, not contradictory.

I don't know how many cows you have been around but horses are way way smarter than cows, this is from personal experience with hundreds of cows and probably 50 horses I have personally encountered.  Cows are only smarter than say, a pile of wet newspaper, while horses are smart as, or even smarter than dogs.

More personable =/= smarter

Hi!

I am actually not having that much to do with them, but I go by their normal names or Hidden Fun Stuff. However, I am not totally opposed to the clown thingie as

a) it makes me think of Stephen King's IT
b) it fits what I see with many players considering getting their dwarves slaughtered to be hilarious comedy, something clowns are often supposed to create.

And Dante's Circus also got my approval :) :) :)

However, I agree with Cryptfeind in that you can't really order language change. It happens and that's it. Of course, you can make suggestions, but whether they catch on or not is beyond your control.

As creatures are created at worldgen, adding new ones to an existing world won't affect anything because they don't exist there.
