More on the magic side than the technological, this device draws from the ambient sources when idle, yet is made in a manner that blocks input from other batteries. It allows the storage of mana in case the user of magitech deplets his own field, in which case it starts either refilling it or pouring power straight into the device, depending on setting.

Seems good enough to me.

Oh, heh. This sounds like the best time to a) look up the passive sensors and b) create some kind of device that turns all Power available into pure energy, that we can activate in a whim as a last resort. Here's hoping the other demigods that may or may not attack you have a physical form that can be destroyed by sheer energy flooding from every direction.

51 years. I ran out of stuff to mine, that was 40d tho. Longest on .31 was 22 years and it died of the magic syndrome of everybody instantly dies of necrosis.

Can't we just go on and infuse ourselves with enough power, fast enough to become one of the more powerful beings in the universe? Just turn this solar system into pure power and eat that up. Or is there some sort of limitation?

DF is a sandbox, you know.

Well, a lightspeed computer is a giant jump from the old designs which could take even an ingame year to calculate a simple thing. I'm looking at you, fellas.

Now to somehow miniaturize it and we're off to creating ingame monitors, keyboards, and a data storage device. Then, we're off to creating Dwarf Fortress, in Dwarf Fortress, running 1 FPS at 1 FPS.

This is going to be hilarious when they actually put it on shelves. If that even happens, I have no idea how the AO rating works. May finally break the barrier which made "holocaust tycoon" so offensive - which, not to accidentally spark a flamewar here, means that people'll learn that if there's something you consider bad, don't play it, don't support it, but don't demonize people who do play it and enjoy it.
