You stare intently into Uriel's eyes. Perhaps, you think. if I let him into my soul now, I can dominate him and reseal him later... but for now "I'll do it."

Uriel remains expressionless. "Okay, just come over here and touch me. That should be enough."

You walk over to the angel and give him one last once-over. Apathetic son of a bitch. You place your hand against his heart and are overcome with a brilliant warmth. Your vision glows golden and you are overcome with the feeling of falling. When you come to, you are standing in the middle of a dust road. You look down at yourself. The hole in your armor persists, but your flesh has mended, and you feel whole again. Although your skin is the tiniest fraction lighter. How annoying.

Emmett. It's me, Uriel. I just wanted you to know what it would be like when I add my thoughts to yours. For the most part, I'd rather just watch, as I will admit you have a much more hightened natural skill at fighting and problem solving. If you ever need my help, just remember that I am part of you now. I will be seeing the world from your eyes now, too.

"Shut up," you growl. "You are far too talkative for someone who just wants to watch. Speak when spoken to, angel."

Understood.

After deciding you are, if not a bit worse for wear, fine, you realize you should be in the middle of a battle. You look up quickly and do not see any sign of Malachi or Alice.

Instead, you see the town you were in, except it looks as though the earth itself was thrashed apart. Giant scars dig deep into the ground. Deeper than sunlight can reach in some places. The majority of the town sits at weird angles, as the ground has been broken into massive slabs of sliding earth. In the air, a faint supernatural miasma still lingers.

"Alice... What the hell did you do?"

Well we're waiting for the people who haven't posted yet to say something. I've said my peace about who I think is mafia, and defended myself against the accusations towards me.

It's up to the other players to decide whos argument is more convincing.

That said: we really should have the other players post.

"Where am I, angel?" you ask, your hostility barely masking your confusion. His half-closed eyes stare at you.

"Emmett, you are dead." Uriel says calmly. "This space is inside your soul."

"Oh..." you say, at a loss for words. You were killed... by that angel... "So... why are you here?"

Uriel's eyes remain expressionless. "Well, instead of sending my soul to hell like most demons are supposed to, and instead of letting my soul return to heaven where my body could regenerate, you consumed it. Now," his eyebrow flickers. "I'm part of you."

You are taken aback for a second.

"What do you mean?"

"When you ingested my soul, you added it to your own. Yours is still dominant. In fact, I cannot do anything as it stands, but I'm here with you. I cannot exist without you any more."

You nod blankly. Unable to process the information Uriel is giving you yet.

"Now then, I have a request for you," he says in his soothing tone. He tries to move his body, but immediately thousands of whispy black hands pull him back into place. "If you give me access to your soul -that is to say, we share your mind.- I can bring your body back to life and heal you with my power."

"...What exactly does that entail?" You ask, dubiously.

"Well, if you release your mental restraints on me, my power will be added to yours. While not as grand as you are now, it will still give you a significant boost in combat and regenerative capability. Your body may undergo a few changes as my soul mixes with yours, but it will still be under your complete control."

"Anything else?"

Uriel's eyebrow twitches again. "You would also be able to hear my thoughts inside your head,"

You cringe.

"Why would you help me, though, angel?" You demand.

"Because, demon," He says with the most minute hint of bitterness in his tone. "The moment you bound me to your life, I lost my ability to ever be anything more than a thrall. If you die, so do I. If that means that I have to help you conquer Earth, or even assist in killing another angel, than so be it." He pauses to let you consider his offer.

"So, Emmet, what do you say?"

8/10 for being underwater...

or in an illusion...

or something...

man, fuck that chapter.

Snip.

I'm sorry to hear that, but I understand. I started this RP pretty differently than it's running now. It's true that it's turned from more of a "get back to power" to a vaguely interactive story about a certified badass and her yandere pet. I'm glad to know you still read, thanks for helpin me out in part 1. Maybe in the future if Emmett doesn't die here and eventually gets strong, she will have to strategically conquer some stuff and you'll come back <3.

No homo.

Also, to all my other readers: I love you just as much, and the next post from this delicious cliffhanger will come tommorow when it's not 12 AM and I'm not exhausted from a hard day's werk.

Cheers.

Flash him.

When I saw that you had replied, I got really happy cause you were really helpful throughout the first half of this thread and then you disappeared. I thought you had come back. I thought we'd be together again.

You open your eyes. You are standing in a pitch dark room of unknown size, yet you can completely see yourself. You have no wounds and no pain. You appear to be floating in a sea of nothingness, but you can feel something solid beneath you.

Just now you notice something floating across the room from you. A golden sphere of light. You walk closer to it, trying to figure out what it is. Suddenly, the sphere explodes into light, and you can see a vaguely humanoid figure within the light.

Once your eyes adjust, you can see the figure belongs to a man. He appears to be the same age as you. He is wearing a white robe, with a golden sash going from his waist to his right shoulder. His hands are empty. His hair is disheveled and brown. His blue eyes are half-open, as though he is incredibly disinterested with everything he sees. Two giant white wings sit upon his back. His mouth opens and he speaks in an incredibly soothing and calm voice.

"Greetings, Emmett. I am the angel Uriel." His voice is monotone and emotionless..

"Where are you, coward? You call out, still looking for a sign of Malachi. "Only a weakling would hide behind an illusion!

"Is that so?" You hear his voice shout from behind you. You turn around to see three of him, all hovering well off the ground, smirking. "Uh oh, demon. Which one of us is the real one? Better figure it out fast!" all three say at once before flying in a full dive towards you.

You plant your feet in the ground. "Alice! Get ready to grab anything other than me that touches the ground." You feel the earth below you rumble in agreement.

The three figures are now soaring at you at full speed. At the last second, before they crash into you, you leap into the air, swinging your sword in a wide horizontal arc. You slice through all three Malachi's which dissolve into smoke against the ground.

SHIT. Without thinking, you continue your swing behind you and turn around to see Malachi come to an abrupt stop just in front of the tip of your blade. His face looks startled.

"Oh." He says. "You figured it out." He smiles again. "No matter!" He begins to clap his hands together, but you've anticipated this. Quickly, you use your momentum against his (the fact he just stopped abruptly means it'll be harder for him to backtrack.) and grab ahold of his left wrist. "Get off!" he calls out, angrily. He tries to pull his hand away, but your grip is tight. To solidify it, you manipulate the bones in your hand to jut out into his wrist and branch out, connecting your body to his very painfully. He screams in anger and punches you in the face, but you shrug it off. He punches you again, but you just tighten your grip and extend your bones deeper into his arm. He punches you a third time, and now you're feeling a little dizzy. You drop the Vorpal Blade, which is caught in a skeletal hand several feet below you. When he throws his fourth punch, you catch his fist in your right hand.

"Fuck." You squeeze hard. "OFF!" Then you put a great deal of your demonic power into a bull rush. You fly directly downwards, causing him to fall beneath you. You are plummeting towards the ground together, but just as you're about to hit, you release your grip and bones from his body and fly upwards. You make it out safe. Malachi crashes into the ground, causing an enormous pillar of dust to explode from the street.

He lies on his back in a newly formed crater of cracked rock and dust. His right arm is bloody from where you penetrated it, and his robes are tattered and dust-stained. He groans for a second before pushing his shoulders out behind him to stand up. He is greeted with twenty or so sandstone hands clutching his body to the ground.

"What is this, demon!" He yells out, fearfully.

You land next to him, his body now completely covered in stone arms except for his head. You smile widely at him, licking some of his blood off of your hand. "It's my pet! Alice, show the nice man what you think of people who hurt me."

His face contorts in agony as the arms crush his body.

"F-fucking... Demon..." he coughs.

"Alice, love. Let go of his body. It'd be a shame to end his life so soon." You say through a huge grin. Alice's arms retract back into the earth. Your skeletal hand returns to you and gives it to you before falling limply to the ground. Malachi scoots backwards, but makes it about a foot before you place your bare heel against his chest and step down hard. You hear his ribs crack and he screams out in agony. You shiver a bit in pleasure as his cries of pain fill your ears. So angelic. Ahhhh.

You take your foot off him and realize you should probably put something on, lest you get blood on your bare skin, since Malachi disintegrated your clothes earlier. With a small burst of energy, bones and blood explode out of your body and wrap around you in a swirling vortex, obscuring all view of you. After several seconds, the swirl dies down and the extra bone and blood sinks back into you. You are now covered in a tight-fitting full plate body armor with sections of smoothed bones and dense bones for what would be metal in regular armor. The bone plates are held together with sinuous bands of deep-red blood, so the armor is flexible and held together sturdily. Your head, hands, tail and wings are all armorless, why bother?

With newfound modesty, you place the tip of the vorpal blade between his collarbone. His skin splits open effortlessly under it. He cringes. You gently drag the blade's edge down his body stopping just below his navel. His entire chest cavity is now open, having cleaved through his skin and muscle like a hot knife through butter. The air is filled with his howls of pain. The sound is nigh orgasmic.

His exposed ribs show a rapidly beating heart as well as heavily breathing lungs. Hehe. You possit your blade with a skeletal hand behind you. You slowly reach down and pull apart his rib cage, shattering the bones in your grip. Your laughter begins to reach the same level of noise as his screams. You grip his heart, and with one last "DIE!" you crush it within your grip, spraying blood in all directions.

"Hahahahaha! All angels are the same! Arrogant weaklings!" You mock.

You hear Alice's voice call from far away. It sounds muffled. Odd... She's supposed to be right under you. What's she saying?

"ww-- --p. wa--ke u----pp."

huh?

"Wake up, Emmett!" you can hear her calling out clearly now. Wake up? What does she mean wake u-

Suddenly, you feel searing heat as something penetrates you through the heart from behind. You look down to see a golden spear made of light. W-what?

Suddenly you feel immensely dizzy. You close your eyes hard and open them again to see yourself standing where you were, except there is no crater, no Malachi and no Alice. From behind you, you hear a familiar voice say.

"Was the last dream of your existance a pleasant one?" You feel even more heat as the spear violently pulls out from whence it came, shredding your insides. You stumble forwards and clumsily turn around, losing conciousness fast. You see Malachi standing there, smiling from ear to ear, holding his glowing weapon.

"W-when...?" You ask.

"When I charged you that last time. I knew you'd swing at me, so instead of attacking you, I placed you under a deep illusion. Luckily, you're so damn simple you fell for it, hook line and sinker. Although I have to admit, that armor bit was pretty cool." You see you're still wearing the armor you summoned in your dream. "Ah well, I've had enough fun with you. You'll die in a few seconds, but I don't want to risk a single thing, so this is goodbye, demon." The spear of light he was holding shifts in his hand into a sword. He casually pulls it back, and with a smirk, strikes out with it at your neck. You don't have to energy to block, you've lost too much power by his obliteration of your heart. You feel the blade sink into the flesh on the right side of your neck, but it stops there. Odd, the trajectory should have lopped your head clean off.. Through a growing black haze around the corners of your vision, you see long stone arms holding Malachi. Your ears begin ringing with the sound of death, but still you can hear, faintly and in a panicked voice.

"Emmett!"

Alice is calling for you. You fall to the ground flat on your back with a thud. The aperture of your sight has been reduced to almost nothing, and you can barely hear the distant-sounding crunches and screams as, you assume, Malachi is reduced to gore.

Through the last pinhole of light of your vision, you see Alice's pretty face hovering over you, tears streaming down her cheeks. Although you can't feel it, you know she's shaking you. Her lips are moving, but you can't hear a word she says. You smile faintly. With your last energy, you force your lungs to expell the tiniest wheeze of sound.

"Be... Good..." you say.

And then everything goes black.
