"...You give them the tip, I'll give them the whip." Xerxe said to Largo innocently.
"...These enemies are somewhat disappointing. We're barely breaking a sweat. They're not even interrupting our usual banter! We would have had the same conversation just walking down the hallway normally. I expected the Hood Street Funmen to be more...entertaining." Xerxe points out astutely.
"Now that I think about it...Largo seems entirely too old to be Lucys father...not to mention the parentage issues..."
"...Nothing makes me angrier than watching mages try to attack Tomato!"Unfortunately for him, a bright flash of light from the archer's bow catches him off guard a split moment after they begun to draw, and in another moment he finds an arrow shot through his leg, the force sweeping him off his feet and sending him face-first into the ground.: "Urgh...! Okay... maybe I... deserved that."
"This is no time to die.
"Out of our way, Hood Street Funmen!" Xerxe politely bellowed.
"These seem to be the Hood Street Funmen." Xerxe misinterpreted, after viewing their clown like attire. He had not really lived in this city long.
Alexander pulled out his mace as he approached the new mounted foe, judging his lance to be a poor choice to approach with.:"Getting close, now. To tell the truth... I am truly curious what drives the guardian of this place to defend it so tenaciously. I am not sure whether or not we could have avoided this fighting, but... I can respect that... loyalty? No, not quite the right word... that... desire to guard, I suppose. Still, of course, there's more fighting to do."
"It is curious that a strong enough sense of duty can extend past the lives of those who defend, and even the memory of what is being defended." Iris commented in a hollow voice. "The willpower remains. To protect-or destroy-remains after the true reason for fighting has long fled."
