« on: August 16, 2019, 03:55:04 pm »Doesn't seem like a downside to me. Whatever gets the devs more money for their product, honestly.
Besides it's just a launcher, not like it's a console that's retailing 300~ dollars or more.
Epic, Sony, Microsoft... they've all had their security leaks, although Epic's is one of the worst in awhile and almost guaranteed to happen again because they don't think ahead. Years of lessons learned by the big names and Epic has been throwing money at baby steps.
And here I am expecting Outlaw to be more than just a small iteration on a boring game than needed variety.

X Rebirth is 70% off for both editions at GOG https://www.gog.com/game/x_rebirth_home_of_light_complete_edition
It's not a bad game, it just still has a ways to go. The foundation is there.
Oh right, I was thinking of the wrong game. X4 has a ways to go. It's 25% off at GOG. https://www.gog.com/game/x4_foundations

Wow, look at all those "mixed" reviews at the $15 level. :/
I don't own half the expansions and not sure I care enough to complete the set.

SE is finally, officially, a bit closer to Empyrion on this front.
I've been playing with EEM lately and it's working smoother than in the past. Also replaying Escape from Mars as Rocket Raccoon, the half height engineer. What a trip it is. He's got the right hitbox.

« on: July 12, 2019, 03:10:23 pm »Joysticks are always the first thing to go for every single controller/system I've ever had. Can anyone here point me to a controller where the buttons actually give out before the stick does (but not because the buttons are sucky)? Because if that even exists I would pay a premium for it.Yea the pro controller is really the only worthwhile controller--the joy cons are big hitler.
My left joycon won't let me up smash in smash ult anymore. Meanwhile, the wired xbox-lookalike bowser controller will randomly hold down. I got one of the gamecube replica ones recently, we'll see what that one does.
Replacement sticks are sold for a reason. You use them the most.

I see it on Android for free as well. Is this just a knockoff Magic?

Also good
My switch has been on the go to or from work. Good for a two hour drive at night.

Also love they tied point gain to repeatable actions in non-iron man games. As in you can use mods. Mods that allow you to do the repeatable action way faster than normal.
You still need the capacity to hold and use them, so no matter what the 5 bucks they give you is likely smaller than the profit they get from you buying games to raise your point cap.

We know nothing about it and nobody has played it. Never preorder. Every major dev has its flops and goes downhill eventually.

400 ish? That'll buy you a windows machine. Some of ASUS's Transformer line fits right around that price. They are touchscreen tablets paired with detachable keyboards. They have micro SD options in the tablet and laptop hard drive options in the keyboard. You can expand for a lot of storage. Micro SD's are cheap right now. You could even play small world Dwarf Fortress.
You can also do a bit of price and function comparison's here for Android: https://www.youtube.com/user/hendrickson/videos Hit up the tablet review playlist. Order through Gearbest, which gives free global shipping and EU plugs.
Some of the CHUWI's are dual boot Windows and Android.
A $100 8-10 inch android tablet from a variety of companies will do what you want. Don't touch Apple unless you just want to burn money.
