Curses / Re: LCS organizational structure
« on: January 05, 2011, 02:58:14 am »
When I first played Liberal Crime Squad, I had a convoluted hierarchy in mind which would allow me to protect my founder while setting up a massive system resulting in the defeat of Arch-Conservatism. However, when I started playing 4.01.4, I realized such systems were unnecessary; the game's too easy for that nonsense unless I handicapped myself. Consequently, I turn my founder into a Liberal Army Knife, capable of performing any task in the game. I'm not afraid of a criminal record since it only matters if I get arrested, and, if that happens, I'm more than willing to jailbreak my companions.

A visual example:
FOUNDER (1000 Juice)
- 26 Recruits (1000 Juice each)

Tada.

Well, then. Considering what I thought of for my character (fantasy logic!), I am not entirely sure how appropriate it is for him to ninja out of the darkness. However, it may be enitirely possible, the Trader being the dick he is, that he brought Gustave to the planet earlier and just had him stealth amongst the people, completely pretending to be unimportant! Unless Aklyon feels like bringing him back now; perhaps not to trade, but just to say, "GET OFF MY SHIP."

In any case, Aklyon, do you mind doing a SUPER INVENTORY REVIEW. I easily lost track of every item brought, bought, and left upon the battlefield after an unseemly death. A shotgun hopefully unafflicted by Teh Suckage is all fine and well, but Gustave and I would like to see options.

It appears the sight of such devil magic hath inspired the adventurers into silence as they contemplate how best to implement these ninja tricks at the dome.

...Speaking of the dome, IS IT SECRET? IS IT SAFE? Has Griph defended its legacy on his own!? Only time shall tell next time... on Trapped Dome Z!

94
Well, we already established they were dwarves, right? Particularly if they survived for so long without a wall. Understandable, in fact, with that devilry in their hands.

95
What sort of devil science is that, wiring guns to fire at the command of other guns!?

Out of curiosity, how long of a trip is it from the dome to the village? Estimate, of course, since, y'know, who knows if you'd have to take a detour in the event you run into HUEG doomy doom.

Considering I advocated ignoring the village, nah, that's not bitter; that's just, "well, if you guys could have magically ninja'd them over to you, that'd be useful."

Tie? What tie? If there had been a tie, it has gone shoopdawhooppoof. Even if I had the right to vote, which I don't since that's not my character there, I'd be all for trying to reopen the mine again. I mean, y'know, the whole affair could have been more manageable with those people from that isolated mining village, but, hey, that would have been TOO much effort.

Curses / Re: Limb Regeneration
« on: January 01, 2011, 01:37:27 pm »
While limb regeneration as a bug in previous versions certainly made sense, given the scope of the game (through the power of Heart, she has reformed!), I certainly disapprove of these "prosthetics" and "surgery" things to fix ailments inflicted upon Liberals. Why? Because it seems so Conservative. Show your scars from The Menace with pride, for they reveal how much of a difference you've made in your activism. If you all want to pretend to be the oppressive CCS, then, by all means, have fun with your Heartless limbs of plastic and malice; I'll settle for killing you with flesh and blood.

Hiya, Aklyon. I looksied at the links in your signature, thought I'd take a peek, and VOILA! I hope you don't mind me contributing with the power of Playerspeak while my character waits in the wings; I mean, it's not like I want these guys to get killed or anything, because that would throw me in the spotlight, so, truly, we both know I'm going to try my best to help. Ergo, considering how much effort the populace in the dome has given to militarizing and going out to make teh pewpew, I highly doubt they're going to take upon themselves the responsibility of saving a mining village. Besides, what if the mining village gets saved, yet the dome gets screwed in the process? Bad move. Unless this is the most badass mining village ever filled with dwarves, fey moods, and lava, you'd be screwed. Have Harlon get the miners required to rescue George and Nodachi, then see about replacing that antenna to get in contact with someone other than the Trader who's bilking this place for profit.

On the other hand, if that seems too inhumane, at least get more information about the mining village - how far away it is, how many people are there, all the supplies they have, and so forth - in order to make a better-advised decision. Alternatively, you could go for broke, get everyone killed, and have five new people attempt to somehow make the damn thing work.

After gandering at this entire topic, I have two contributions:

  • What would the colonists need to create another outside antenna? Given the circumstances on the planet, what with "monsters of horrible doomy doom" effin' this shit up and all, is a repair attempt even remotely feasible in order to say OHAYHOMEPLANETWENEEDHELPPLOXKTHXBAI?
  • I would like to be added to this magical waiting list of magical rainbows and candy canes. Ergo, I have provided a character for summary addition - and, likely, execution.

Curses / Re: question about numbers next to names
« on: December 30, 2010, 06:34:58 am »
The second number represents the amount of Skill the Liberal has with her currently equipped weapon; ergo, if she is unarmed, and there's a four there, she has a Martial Arts of four.

Skills are no longer combinations of attributes? Such knowledge helps to confirm the obsolete nature of the LCSWiki. Ergo, I updated the Skills page of said wiki in an attempt to better inform the masses. Many other pages could use such Liberal attention.

The game would have been so much better if the Corporate Machine had released a massive wave of two hundred bears on the LCS safehouse every week.
