The issue here is moving coal and water together, not distributing the power. I'd build a fort or two on the paths the biters usually take, since the same nest will always attack the same point you don't need to cover the entire base early on. Later in the game, a wall with laser turrets every few tiles is pretty cheap to build even over large distances.

Short version - splitters alternate items onto the output belts, but they do it by type rather than alternating all items. So the first iron goes to the left belt, the second iron goes to the right belt, the first copper goes to the left belt regardless of how many iron have gone through.

So. Dutchling's pic - the first splitter ensures that each item alternates between lanes. The second splitter then splits them between belts, and since they alternate lanes they wind up on the outside of each belt. Copper has been run through the machine before, so the splitter puts it on the opposite belt to the iron. The rest of the machine is just using the underground belt trick to route each output lane to the output belt.

As well as duplicate ores, check for potion and biome ID conflicts.

324ms according to the server browser, sounds about right with the block drop delay I experienced.

Think I have this pack installed. I'll let you know sometime in february when it loads.

Playable from scotland, about half a second lag on item pickup. Ping is .. your server is unpingable and I cant remember how to get ping within the game. Connection showed two bar strength, anyway.

It might be worth looking at third party subtitle editors rather than using YouTube's own.

He's using an odd defintion of suicide burn - kill your orbital velocity, drop to the surface, then kill that velocity just in time. That method is inefficient. However, suicide burn properly refers to the final maneuver. Its the most efficient method of landing from any trajectory that intersects the ground. Any other method takes longer, which means you're spending more time fighting gravity and have more velocity to burn off overall.

If you want actual space, then you have to have relativity, and then any FTL travel or FTL signalling results in travelling (or sending messages) backwards in time as a practically unavoidable consequence, which means causality does not hold. :V

Its fairly easy to construct an FTL scheme in which time travel is almost impossible. Wormholes, depending on how you lay them out. Warp drive, if you don't pair them with engines capable of shifting your frame of reference significantly.

It's gives you a little more arrow speed, which may be the difference between one shotting a taint swarm and taking two shots. It also gets a little more range. But it's probably not worth it if you aren't getting into tech beyond the bare minimum.

Pink slime is from MFR, so you'll need plastic. You'll also need a power source, most of the convenient ones are disabled but you can use a mana fluxfield to generate RF from mana, if you don't want to set up a nuclear reactor right away.

To generate pink slime, you need to kill livestock - cows are best - with an MFR slaughterhouse. That'll produce liquid meat  and pink slime. Pipe those to seperate tanks, and collect enough pink slime to fill a bucket. Empty that bucket into the world and a pink slime will spawn. Kill that, preferably with a looting sword, and you'll hopefully get pink slime balls. You'll need a lot of livestock to generate enough slime, so an MFR autofarm will be handy. That consists of a breeding field, a maturation field and a slaughtering field. Two chronotypers are set to pull the young into the maturation field and then the adults into the slaughter field. An MFR breeder will auto-breed the cows in the breeding field but needs a supply of wheat to do so, a thaumcraft lamp of fertility will do the same with a supply of Victus, I think theres a blood magic ritual that can do it as well.

(you can also do this more quickly with an auto spawner, but you need a supply of mob essence which means you need to feed mobs to a grinder - a vanilla spawner will do it, cursed earth spawners are better if you can find a division sigil. There is at least one in the world but I have no idea where I found it.)

There are no natural rubber trees, but you might get a sapling. Or, since you don't need much, you can craft rubber out of eight bitumen, which you can mine under the swamp. Plastic limbs look like a slight upgrade over blue slime ones, although pink slime is still better.

As for the cleaver, I don't think any of the tainted mobs actually drop heads so it would be mostly pointless. Huge damage but way to slow. Not sure what uses thaumcraft has for heads, but if you just want stabilizers for your infusion altar, tallow candles are easy enough to make.

28
Just remembered that plastic is also an early game material. No idea how it'll do as a bolt material, but it should make a decent bow limb - any metal limb you cast is going to have a horrible draw speed.

Fletchings - Leaf gives you the most ammo, slimeleaf is second, then feather and then slime. Both colors of slime are equally terrible. Slimeleaf is generally preferred over leaf, since regular leaf give you stonebound which decreases damage as you expend ammo, and slimeleaf gives you jagged which does the opposite, but if you want the most ammo leaf is the way forward. Also, good luck getting a slime sapling from the supplier.

Both rod and tip have some impact on ammo count, tip seems to be more important.

Early game materials, bolts made with rods tipped in the same material, feather fletching:

promethium - 20
copper - 21
iron - 33
steel - 98
oureclasse - 98

So, ammo count goes up along the same lines as damage or mining level.

By default, mystcraft will give you lakes of any fluid. They can be disabled in symbols.cfg.
