She already did. Hastur noted that she pulled out the javelin, which would have killed one of the living. It's a major wound, though.

I have a feeling that the mutant will be dealt with next turn. If I took out a cultist, someone likely to be somewhat smart, I think I can handle a dumb brute.

But the cultist's head exploded from botching his spell due to you distracting him. The effects on the mutant will probably be less dramatic.

If the acid potion works for chasing out the Raider, I'll toss one at the Mutant too.

I hope you'll have one left in case I get knocked out (can the undead get knocked out?) because I can't make healing dust while unconscious.

I'm not really sure what you want to do with your computer, so I can't tell whether or not you really need that graphics card, but personally, I consider the GTX 580 to just not be worth its price. Have a look at this chart: http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html

As you can see, a Radeon 6950 or a GTX 560 TI have about 80% of the performance of the GTX 580 for 45% of its cost. Which is still enough to play all modern games with maximum details, or so the tests I have read say.

The processor seems similarly expensive, but at least the difference in performance more or less matches the difference in price when comparing it to the i5-2500K. Personally, I'd still go for the latter, but that's because I dislike paying lots of money for something that will be outdated again in a year or so.

Whoops, missed the excitement again. Sorry about the fire, Rahal, I didn't think they would reach you before I could throw. At least it took the Hopper out of the fight.

It's too bad we don't have any electrical attacks for targeting foes hiding in the water.

Miran instinctively puts one hand over the hole in her chest and grits her teeth. That hurt! Frightened, she glances around, evaluating the danger. She is relieved to see that her allies are keeping the other enemies too busy to target her right now.

Her blood-red eyes narrow on the raider in the water as she considers the weight of the readied acid potion in her hand. Try to impale her, will he? A smirk appears on her lips as she remembers that frogs breathe liquid through their skin. "Choke on this!" she shouts as she hurls the acid at the raider, making sure it will contaminate the water upstream from him if she misses.

If this forces the Raider out of the water, she intends to sneak up on him while Ragnar distracts him and take a bite out of him, provided that the Slimer doesn't look as if he was trying to spit at her. If he does, she is going to lunge for cover instead.

Indeed. Muhahahaha!

I hope you guys make it to the river fast. It's currently two non-combat types and one walking wounded against five opponents.

Yes! Bats are great for ambience! (And for eating in a pinch)

Speaking of enchanting weapons, a boomerang that is sure to return could be useful.

It would be great if your entangle immobilised them in a tile set on fire by my molotov potion. Not necessarily the right way to get living prisoners, though.

Since I'm going to sleep now, I'm posting my general attitude for the battle here. My main goal is buying time for the others to arrive and keeping the opponents distracted from Rahal.

However, the first priority is staying alive. That means keeping out of melee range, if possible. Retreat route would be toward the burnt out room, since I figure webbed feet don't work well on uneven rocks. Use acid (5 left) or molotov potions (4 left) to make tiles dangerous if something manages to get close anyway.

Any spellcasters casting within my throwing range are also volunteering for a molotov potion to the face. Otherwise use the boomerang to attack, unless two enemies are in the same tile. If I run out of boomerangs, use acid potions. If melee combat cannot be avoided, go for a bite.

The main idea behind prepared defences is getting enough time to get organised before a battle, and not being completely split up, like now. Blocking all entrances except the one we want them to enter through is also useful for making them run through a trap gauntlet. Not everyone of us is good at fighting or well-equipped.

It may be more practical to dig our own central keep though. A room we can retreat into to sleep without having to worry about enemies dropping in on us.

Or we could find the entrance they used and block that. Since I don't think they jumped down the waterfall, that leaves the drainholes as possible entry points. There may also be some hidden passage behind the waterfall itself.
