Did I do something wrong? What with the "WELL TOO BAD!"

More right than wrong, I like what you did, it fits, it's, just because it's the best, doesn't mean it is has to be good. I love it, but I don't like it, and I have very conflicting opinions.

Barring that, I think that Aidan should at least increase his HP by 2 for 15 tones.

So it's tone cost for increase, not max level, makes more sense... and that inspires a "be good at everything all the time" attitude.

"Hey, remember all this awesome stuff you used to know? WELL TOO BAD!"


Hrm..... Stat screens give the implication that base stats can be increased... while not too strange, the fact that it also implies a maximum level to each stat... hmmmm..... meta meta meta meta.....

I loved Cora's reaction you gave her though.

"Tones! Everywhere! Auhhhhhhh!" Cora rolls around in the tones before everyone picks up their share.

"Wow, that was refreshing, strangely so..." Cora takes her share and goes to purchase 'Animal, Heed!'

I have the amazing mental image of REGIS repeatedly smacking Sadie's helpless body with giant golem fists while shouting at Aidan. Ouch.

The funny part about that would be that it would work...

"A relic perhaps? Maybe an artifact of great power? With a pedestle made of it's previous owner, it must be something good!"

"Blimey! Look at him fly! That actually looks a little fun! But now unfortunately isn't the time for games, how sad." Cora peppers the slasher.

The bow doesn't use arrows. And 'fire my arrow' is like saying 'fire my bullet'...
