What I learned from Quill18: One way roads. ONE WAY ROADS ALL THE THINGS!

EDIT: And here's the not fun part. I want to play Cities, so I can't be arsed to play any other games, but it won't come out until whenever, and since they didn't include a pre-download, I can't play it as soon as it's out.
This would explain the downtown of my city... just... ALL of the one way streets, everywhere.

It's pretty bad that this interview with Molyneux

http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2015/02/13/peter-molyneux-interview-godus-reputation-kickstarter/

is almost as outlandish as THIS satire interview parody

There's a term in Spanish, "vergüenza ajena"... it's kind of sad to see a grown, established developer, fail so badly and then provide such lame excuses.
Ya, I remember reading the RPS interview when it first came out, painful.

Finally, after 3+ months, I've found I was determined to be 0% at fault for my accident. Thank god, did not want an insurance hike.

Argh, my skeleton is upset by this. I feel the spikesssss.

Man, and here I can't even shoot a target two metres away from me with a bow and arrow. :-[
Honestly, and any archer will tell you this--the hardest thing is DRAWING THAT ARROW CORRECTLY.

* Tiruin remembers her really pained forearm and strained biceps.
>_>

But seriously. It takes practice. :3

Happy: That one training song from Mulan played and despite me not watching but hearing it, it gave me shivers down my spine. Plus a great inspiration boost due to the memories.

This guy does amazing disney covers, thanks for making me listen to it again!

Your Honor, I was only following One Direction's orders.
Not on my watch. :P

Rediscovered today how good coffee can actually taste. It's better than I remember.
There is a world between good and bad coffee. Coffee is amazing. It runs through my blood.

is advanced programming. The "Cities" franchise has not been very deep at all. I'll be waiting awhile as more people get a hold of this and poke and prod it.
Just remember, this isn't the "cities XL" franchise, it's made by the "cities in motion" people. Not sure if you were confusing the two. This is our last chance at a good city builder for the next while, so fingers crossed that it's good!

Body decided that, on top of the symptoms of starting new meds, it should hit me with a cold too. I feel like my entire face is bruised...

Oh, and to the Bioware Discussion froma  few pages ago.

It's not just morrigan and sten whining at a good character. This is the case with basically any party where the character does not align with the two sidekicks you take along. Alistair whined at me the entire time troughout the game if I deviated even SLIGHTLY from the goody two-shoes path.

I like most Bioware games and Dragon Age Origins / Mass Effect 3 are still two of my favorite games ever. But I was sorely dissapointed in how hamhanded that whole "Paragon / Renegade"-shtick was. On paper, you could actually design a pretty nifty system, where it isnt allways clear what is the right or wrong thing to do. Paragon might be the guy that will try to save everyone everywhere, regardless if it might cost victory or not. Renegade the guy who's prepared to sacrifice a few thousand people, as long as Reaper ass get's kicked. There is a lot you could do with this, with both Shepards basically being the good guys, albeit with different approaches.

Instead, it's the tired "Satan vs Jesus"-Cliche, only slightly more competently handled than the Fable series.

On the subject of Fable, has anyone played Fable 3? Fable has been my guilty pleasure for years. The whole alignment stuff was gimmicky and poorly handed from the start. But the story was sort of interesting and it was one of the few games where I could play a total dick for once.

oh, shoot, wasn't paying attention and I think I missed my chance to get the overkill DLC...
Edit: Ah, nevermind, still some time. Also hey, I was sure they were going to miss their goals, but lookit that, they're gonna hit everything after all.

Was was a tropical 0 degrees outside yesterday. It felt and smelt like spring, it was lovely. A nice little white lie to remind us that this winter won't be forever. I like the snow, but this year has been bitter cold.
