Ok, here's a possibly dumb question. How does one send a file via PM? do I need to use a file sharing site of some sorts? any suggestions?

I have rather particular ideas about how I run my empires, but teams in which anyone can take a turn if they see one available would be brilliant for expediency's sake. so... Anyone want to team up with the weirdo? I am at G.M.T. +10, so someone near G.M.T. -2 would have to be fairly practical. As I say, I have never played multiplayer before, so I know the basics of the game, but expect to reek on the strategic front...

I like bit of starting technology, to give your empire character, but definitely not all technologies. As for Racial points, I don't really care, more gives you greater freedom, but less forces you to really accentuate your theme...

If we do do teams, I'd probably be a good choice for a partner. I'm new to the game so could actually use someone telling me how to run the empire, so I probably wouldn't resist to the way you do it. I'm at GMT -5. And to be honest, you're on the bay 12 forums, I'm pretty sure EVERYONE is a weirdo here in some way or another. On a final note, isn't GMT -2 in the mid-atlantic? I don't think you're going to find many people there...

I can definitely AIM for 12 hour turnover, however, if the turn goes up at ten, and I can't get to it, in an hour or two, I go to bed, get up, and am then at work till 4. plus having a child to take care of. I'd much prefer aiming for 12 max, but having 24 hours to get it in in a long shot.

And on a different note, anyone know how to fix the white flashes while the game is running?
