Is it bad when Cracked's suggestions begin to sound reasonable?

No.

It would be nice if there was some secondary benefit to the skill, like increasing your chances at trial, or improving your sentence if you are convicted. If appeals are eventually implemented, the religion skill could play a role in getting paroled. Another nice benefit could be reducing the chance that a convicted member squeals to the cops.

I don't really know if that would work. Using religion as a boon to avoid imprisonment is somewhat Conservative, and you have already been branded as a Liberal Threat by the time of your arrest. But yeah, high religion, business, and science makes enlightening conservatives a very slow process. There just isn't any way around it besides nearly killing the conservative or having higher skills yourself.

And thus the omnicidal dwarves of the fortress Killfrenzy the Torture of Death did go to slowly flood the world with magma. If you know where I got the first part of this fort's name, you get cake. _^Not!

I'm not sure you even can circulate the magma sea. I think it has some sort of infinate magma supply, despite the existance of the FUN.

I've seen this. My world is quite cold outside of the equator, but I don't know what causes this. The snow just seems to form a perfect square and melt away. Must just be a strange tempature thing.
