(...) Hurdling over the cooling metal, you explore the area ahead. Looks like the living area for maintenance crew members and engineers in the lower floors. Further down the hall, you can see a large door leading to what you can only assume is the engineering lab. Whatever that is. You're too lazy to go over there, so you scan the living area and fabricate a map.

(...) Traversing the tunnel of melted metal piercing one half of the living complex, you proceed through the
blue-level security door at the end and enter the engineering lab. It's in surprisingly good condition, considering the state of disrepair most of the ship is in.

"You've made it much farther than most. Your group is the last left on this derelict vessel, the last to die. But if you do manage to survive the hell that awaits you, I suggest you give in to the hive mind when the time comes. Lest you be culled like the rest.

"Just an observer. Your friend, the one I spoke to on the main deck, he's received his first enhancement. As have a few others in your group. I'd suggest you do the same. It makes the amalgamation so much smoother."

(...) Your eyes sting as the water on the surface of your retinas boils then freezes. You jam your eyes shut and swim blindly through the empty vacuum. Briefly opening your eyes, you spot a red switch on the left wall, labeled "Emergency Force Shield Reactivation". You thrash over to the switch and mash it with your bionic arm, nearly smashing the control panel it's mounted on. Immediately, the force field reactivates. Oxygen starts pumping into the room and the artificial gravity is restored. Getting back on your feet, you discover that you jammed your laser dagger straight through the control panel and into the wall.
Meta: Check the spider wreckage.
(...) It's more like a soot-covered pile of metal shavings that is unrecognizable as a former horde mecha-spiders. You retrieve a small sack from the janitor's closet and scoop a few handfuls in there. You know, just in case it comes in really handy later, like a heavily-foreshadowed plot convenience. You think they call those Chekhov's Herrings, or something like that.
RW: Get back inside the ship (somehow, maybe use my beard?) and close the hangar.

"I told them to allow the great Ogomspoxom back into his domain! I think they bought it."

"Wait... you know I'm not Ogomspoxom?"

"Ogomspoxom speaks Goblin and does not show his red skin through human hosts. It's not too hard to figure out."

"You're not trying to lead us into a trap, are you...?"

"No, I wasn't lying when I said we needed your help. I was sent out to retrieve our wayward Lord Ogomspoxom, but he was kidnapped and slain by you five before I could reach him. Left with little choice, I figured the adventurers who murdered our great lord were the best chance we had now that our law-giver was dead. So I enlisted your help by talking in a stereotypically-stupid Goblinish fashion and telling you of our problems. I am surely leading you to your death if you five do not have the strength to defeat the evil that menaces us, but you have already been drawn into the conflict by coming to this place.

"Well, shit."
You approach the arched entranceway of the Goblin tower. Spmoxu once again speaks to the guards in Goblin gibberish, and they step aside to allow you passage. As you enter the tower, you hear yelling in the distance and the guards at the door sprint away.

"Your friends are idiots."
Fantasy: Grappling hook to the top of the fortress
(...) Aiming your grappling hook (which is still jammed through the Goblin guard's torso) at the looming Goblin tower, you fling yourself through the air with incredible force! You fight to stay conscious while holding the Goblin guard's flailing body in front of you as a wind shield. Finally, you make contact with the roof of the Goblin fortress, crushing every bone in the guard's body. The force of the impact shatters the roof and sends you plummeting into the throne room below!

Two Goblin Axelords start rushing toward you!Fantasy: Figure out how to reassemble legs that are shattered.
(...) You concentrate on your leg-shattering abilities, trying to find a way to reverse the effect. You can't seem to find a reliable way to do this, but you have a feeling that if you were to fail, say, critically while attempting the legsplosion, it would have this effect. Same with the Greater variety.

(...) You fail to learn a new ability. You do, however, discover a grapeshot function on your musket, allowing you to fire it like some sort of medieval shotgun. You're not sure how that works.
