I want to see a nice exponential graph here  :P

the one who doesn't focus on long term growth (research/expansion) will make the most profit.

sounds like the real world

hey, I've just noticed this:

Code: (24 Hours Sales) [Select]
Average selling price (You): $148 k
Average selling price (World): $175 k
Total units sold (You): 113
Total units sold (World): 5.40 k
Your market share (Revenue): 1.76%
Your market share (Count): 2.09%

we need a new goal  8)

I just had this really weird realization: that not everybody here is years older than me anymore. On one thread (can't remember which, but it was from a long time ago), some thing about ages got brought up somehow, and someone was 17. I joined the B12 forums two years ago, which would mean I was fourteen, which means that now, two years later, I'm no longer in the youngest tier of people here, and am only a year younger than a person a year older than me!

As someone who is used to being one of the young whippersnappers on the forum, it's a strange feeling. Now I'm curious; has anyone else had that sort of 'whoa' moment here?

Now that I've typed this post out, it strikes me as a really random thread. Alas.

getting late on the fray, but I was routinely the younger of my team at work, as I was quite qualified and always got jobs where the other people were older than me.... until last year   :-\
same whoa moment (I realized it after six month or so into the project)

What happened during that massive dip in NW?

the first dent is when they adjusted the research level value toward networth

the second smaller recent dent is when we queued MILLIONS of research  :P (money went out of the pocket and so subtracted to networth, research not yet completed is not added hence the dip)

...and I'm not sure if Arma 2 simulates bullet physics well, if at all) but it could come with a degraded accuracy and damage at least.
This is ArmA, it's not your average shooter. It does indeed simulate ballistics, that's why subsonic rounds(silenced) do less damage than a regular round of the same caliber.

one of the best simulations, probably only beaten by the ace 2 mod

Autounion as a social experiment failed  :P

In the end we had to ditch communication and just enable each job to do its stuff end to end; turned out pretty well but everyone is doing its things rarely organizing something big

we built 100 chassis with the intention of making a buttload of cars, but I wasn't there when they got out of the factory and they were half sold at the stores  :o

I am still not going back to play until 5.7 (6.0?) come out. Cant wait for newtonian aurora, but when next patch comes steve will have most of NA mechanics coded and "only" need to rewrite AI. Then there is nothing more to wait than aurora2, which finally load database into memory rather than reading from hd every time (like thousands time faster access to data).

I'm waiting newtonian

I love this game; I simply can stand the five second madness when you have a populate (=interesting) universe.
