Also, what's the best way of catching a giant cave spider? I want to lure it into my cage traps. I know there's one because there's webs everywhere. I plan to set it adjacent to my arena, separated by a fortification and maybe a floodgate. This is so it can safely shoot webs at goblins which I can later collect, as well as closing the floodgate so my men don't shoot it when they're inside.Place a kitten behind the trap as bait. The GCS will be attracted towards it.
I dreamt that I had uncovered a thin, 7/7 liquid vein of Hot Fudge. Fortunately I did this by channeling into it from above, so I didn't spill it.And then you went through the candy cane forest. Yeah, we get it, Buddy.
What poisons are on the darts? All it says is 'cave swallow man poison coating'
You realize that, if they have a mood, they will probably use slade.Well, there's the caveat that it will probably be very bugged, beware.I know that. Slade is unuseable because of something else in its code.
It's just I genned a world in which every dwarf has a preference for slade or adamantine.
EVERY DWARF.
I would imagine it's based on .txt files so that players can edit things as they like. Why not XML for the hardcoded stuff, then?
Wiki. I even tested it myself.Wood can be destroyed by any undead/BD1 creature.Where did you read this? I too didn't think material mattered.
Anything else can be destroyed by BD2 creatures.
Cave-in. That is how I do that. Or magma shower. Or, if they are no threat to you, leave them there. They may deal with some Fun for you.The magma sea's only a few levels below the cavern, so I should be able to pump up magma from there.
I embarked on a human town, and had to pierce the aquifer. It was a success, but my only miner was badly injured. So I sent her to the hospital, and the medic spent the next few months fixing her up. Now I'm waiting for the first dwarf caravan to get a mechanism to make a Traction bench to heal her completely. After all non-traction wounds were healed, she sat in bed for a while while the medic got cancellations for a traction bench. Now it is the Former part of the first summer and she reads as "Faint". Should i be concerned? Is she internally bleeding? Is there any way i can fix this? She only broke some bones and tissue, but all she needs now is a traction bench. Help?'Faint' means she has lost alot of blood, as far as health is concerned.
are there any building materials that can't be deconstructed by enemies with building destroyer?Wood can be destroyed by any undead/BD1 creature.
or does df not check building material for the tag?
