Can carnivores eat cheese or prepared meals with eggs in them? I'm hoping to have a renewable source of food for my carnivore fort.

It seems to me like Draven is going to be an incredibly fun champion to play. I may just spend money to buy him, depending on whether he's living up to his hype (Pardon the lore pun) or not.

To bring this back from the dead, I have an idea for the spawned creatures/turrets/etc.
Based on a story about pet gremlins hunting, I had the idea form: What if we could spawn something that automatically fishes/hunts/etc? It would seem that all that is needed is a natural skill tag for that profession. For example, Gremlins have natural ambusher skill, which makes them hunters by profession. Hopefully this would work with 'friendly' units.
I know it sounds crazy and fragmented, but it may just work.

If I'm not mistaken, cats are under the Minimum size required by the weapons.
To fix this, make smaller versions of the pick and axe, or enlarge the cats.

That pattern has repeated itself in many of the apocalypse predictions, and was especially visible with the Harold Camping prediction. By giving all their savings to help pay for warnings about the coming apocalypse, they and their dependents are left pretty much destitute, with their lives ruined. That includes retirement funds, their children's college funds, and pretty much every last penny gone.
This. Although it was a while ago, the Great Disappointment was a good example of this.

I personally think that 'Deep Forge' sounds good. Perhaps it could be the only building that can work frostbrand(The conceptual frost giant drop)?

Curses! I embark on a beautiful good-natured biome, perfectly flat, nice river, and obsidian as a layer.
Within seconds, my entire embark group caught a disease. Luckily for me, it was only the type that causes blood being coughed out and fevers.

EDIT: I have an axedwarf who has slain two vampire lords. Now that is a badass.

Perhaps frost giants could drop a sort of enchanted ice-crystal glass that can be turned into powerful gem weapons and armor? It seems like a good way to combat the frost giants.
