Jus had a nice series of matches. Nothing like both players using their ultimates and the insuing mutually assured destruction that follows.

Last night was quite fun. Had a lot of us in there, with a range of skills and chars that we play. Hope to see even more in there.

Yeah I probably should look into sokuroll, if only to be able to play with those who need it.

Yup, about the same here with playing in short hyperactive bursts punctuated with months of inactivity. Anyways had some good Iku vs Iku matches with Lumonen earlier.

That was fun games.

Clauxus and....I forget the name sorry.  Watching you two do those Remilia vs Meiling fights... that was something else.  You two are beasts.

Game is hard  :'(
oh well i'll just have to practice.
You said you were only playing a couple days?  That's not bad considering.  Most of the people in the channel felt like they've been playing a year at least.  I can't speak for anyone else but just about everyone kept me on my toes.

I was the Remilia. And yeah like a few others here, I've been playing fighter games for most of my life. Having siblings really helped with that. And I've got some time logged on soku as well obviously. And glad you enjoyed the matches. ^^

No specific place to chat and setup matches here, but much like Greiger, I am setup to play via direct connect and do tend to prefer it over hamachi when possible. But a steam or irc chatroom or something should work jus fine in place of hamachi's chat room, though people will still have to fiddle with their port settings for direct connecting.

On another note, someone pm me and we'll setup a direct connect match.

Oh awesome, is this going again? So do I need to dl some new replacement for hamachi or what? I'd be interested in playing a bunch of matches.

Who even needs clothes for vampires. Dress them in leather armour, leather leggings, and leather high(low) boots. Since it's armour, it never wears out, and so its prefect for your undying vampire hermit. Though you might as well go all out and dress them in actual metal armour.

I normally keep my fps counter off, so I don't have to know how horrible it truly is. But if it is on, and the fort is in the 30 to 40 range, it is in good shape.

Traveling along roads also gives you the chance to meet the traveling merchants.

It's pretty much your standard-fare mmo, in that you play it mainly to just get your char ever stronger, while hanging out with friends. It does have an above average main storyline, you can do as well. And it does heap a lot of extra powers on you if you do it. But yes you can treat it as a dress-up mmo if you like, as there are plenty of different outfits, for you to mix and match and dye to your hearts content. And yeah I suppose you could roleplay dating to go with the marriage system. But then again most mmos have marriage in them already, so that is hardly unique to mabi.

I've played a bit over the past couple months, though I've gotten bored of mabi again. But I can show a lil pic of what I was working on.

The touhou fans should instantly recognise her. But for those of you who aren't familiar with Touhou, look up Koishi Komeiji.

Wait, so I can never get those large creature fish like pike and giant sponges that way?

Not with the regular fishing labor. To get those fish, is a far more complicated procedure, and I'd recomend you read Sphalerite's Sea Serpent thread for how to catch larger aquatic animals.

Can you also collect water threw a grate?

Simple answer is no. But if you want to get a little trickier, you can pull water/magma up through a floor grate with a pump.

DF Dwarf Mode Discussion / Re: Danger rooms in the next version?
« on: March 22, 2013, 03:53:05 pm »
Hehe, I do plan to build a danger room and a seed scrambling pit to see if the new update changes them considerably. From reading the front page, I do think there will be some changes in the effectiveness of the rooms though, just not sure how much.

Though I'll probably be more interested in how it effects the "dodge me" traps. As those are among my most used, to collect goblins in without them running away. And then mass burning the garbage all away while leaving the valuable goblinite ore alone.
