Patience's Diary

It's been seven months since we got here, diary, and I've finally had a chance to write. Where shall I begin?

When we got here, I immediately set the Ashlers to mining and woodcutting. Kat took off, hunting wild game to keep in her eye.

So far, we've dug up a hole to live in. We've started farms, and even better, one of the Ashlers, Spinneret by name, was able to start carving out some of the wood we chopped down to make blocks out of. We've started on a wall, Diary, and we're going to finish it by the time the caravan gets here, I think.

Spinneret's a very good craftsman, too. She's started carving some wood crafts, to help give the place a nice look. And Fimbulwinter Lebasneft and Mal Men Shekewefhmes have started cutting stones to make rooms.

We've had our first harvest, and we've had two new ponies come. A married pair, one Ashler and one Ranger. Both are Draltha ponies, and neither have brought any children here.

We've nearly finished digging out the dining room, and after that, I might start practicing my artistic side again.

I am... So confused. So, uh, you mean we don't know Mira is female? Is that it? Well, I guess then our characters would refer to her as a 'guardsman' due to lack of knowledge, but surely your actual actions would refer to a guardswoman. I don't know. That post confused me greatly.

Also, GM: What is the 40K equivalent of tea?! I know coffee is recaf...
