It'll be roughly a week before we get a stable version, and that's after he releases the first one.

Well, I guess I won't have to be horribly rude and ignore all other birthday presents, then. Still... I was pretty excited for a release today.

Nope, he doesnt want to merge them, and can't.

Fort Mode runs 72 times faster then Adventure Mode.

What you're confusing, probably is the Adventure Mode will eventually let you create sites, and maybe even attempt to build a fortress in Adventure Mode. But they'll always be seperate. And building a large sites in Adventure Mode will probably always be impractical.

Continuing on with map maintenance, this time handling building changes and fixing how the historical figure placement was screwing up the placement of treasure underground. I think I'm going to incorporate Baughn's SDL changes tonight. There are a few more maintenance tests and ten or so assorted bugs after that.
