Well, we don't know much of the inner workings of the game. Toady probably has modified that A* beyond recognition so that simple version from applet does not represent it well.
There was a couple of threads on suggestion board about JPS, though it's unknown whether Toady has seen them.

But having something like that in the game mechanics itself would be one step toward "the game of raping and shitting dwarves" and that's not good.

I could see this being an extension of current strange mood system. When a less reasonable dwarf feels the Urge he could bring an animal along with other materials for the artifact. Then:
1) Slightly unreasonable dwarf could simply bring an animal to workshop for inspiration to make a statue or add a masterful image of said animal.
2) Moderately unreasonable dwarf could just make some silly artifact and forceequip it on animal.
3) A completelly nuts dwarf could proceed to modify creature to his liking, giving it features of his favourite animal if it's not one, adding random bodyparts, replacing or reinforcing tissues with another materials, adorning with spikes and carving images. If the mood was one of evil ones the creation could go on rampage, especially if the modification isn't to it's liking.

(The last one came up to me as the only current possibility to arm animals and probably belongs to those golem-making threads but I had to share it anyway)

Did you know there's a starving cavy sow atop the wall near depot? Probably one of geese put her up there.
Also, your controls suck. I've tried to show liaison your nice glass canon but it turned out the main bridge is controlled only by that pressure plate with goose. So, I've locked him in that maze and still got a crash.

Any attack needs to pierce skin to apply special effects, so venom never gets injected with those licks and kisses. So while those act as manifestation of demonic perversion they have far less effect than the were intended to.
You'd need to use interactions to get that working. Or maybe you could make their lips covered with saliva (SECRETION token on wiki) that will come in contact with target upon attack. I've never done anything like that myself though and I believe kissing through the pants still won't do the trick.

Also succubi are creatures driven to depravity by their nature, so how about adding some drawbacks caused by this nature? i.e. Giving them some combat interactions that do nothing except appear in combat log. ("A succubus licks her lips teasingly" or "A succubus makes a kissy face at foe" etc.)

Uhm, same as normal dorf military?

Vamps prey on sleeping dwarfs, I believe they could eat other sleeping creatures as well, but I've never had both a vampire and tigermen or FB with sleeping syndrome in one fortress.

Well, losing a bodypart counts as serious injury which causes a bad thought though dwarves usually don't run away if limb is already lost. And severed beard won't regrow.

I believe he had been playing df since 2d versions, 30 fps was the starting point back then.

One digger will dig at a time, but will be replaced if there's another eligible digger.
Does eligible digger mean any invader of that race or eligible diggers are chosen at the beginning of the invasion?
Can we specify which caste is capable of digging?

You made me want to play DF again. (Not this week though, but I'll definitely try this a bit later)
