Dont forget that you can specify ammo on the millitary screen and add a training-only allocation of bone bolts, and set metal bolts to combat only.

There's also a semi-explot that can stop you breaking bolts used in training but if you want to use it i'd ask/search.

Trade for bars or build lots of Stone-Fall traps, Cage Traps and retracting-pit-fall traps to harvest the precious Goblinite.

My Goose Breeding program has succeeded in producing 7 goslings, along with my peahens and turkeys I have more eggs than my dwarfs can eat (1100+). Considering making Goose the only animal available.

I forbade my stacks of Hill Titan tallow being cooked - Hill Titan Soap for all!

Latest Mood after a bloody siege... A Golbin Bone Door! this is replacing the main entrace-door.

Oh If only you could create bone-blocks - a Goblin-bone perimiter wall and a Troll-Bone Drawbridge...

I'd like to think that after an epic battle, the FB finally began to succumb to its wounds and sensing its end, it released a suicidal blast of primoridal toxins.

Too bad for the dwarfs attacking it.

Stock piles allow you to quickly designate tiles of allowed/forbidden objects to swap between desired rock types. But yes, the economic stone page lets you preserve your flux stone etc.

Its very useful if you need items make of Magma safe materials - you can create a stockpile of specific rocks and place them next to the workshop - clear away or forbid rocks around the workshop that are not magma safe. They will grab the nearest rock to make the generic 'rock' thing with and take it from the magma-safe stockpile.
Ofc it would help if you could explicitly declare the rock type as with metals.

As mentioned above its pure overcrowding, ive had numerous reports of Pets fighting as they pass each other in busy 1-tile wide cooridoors.

Looking at the raws, I saw that maces are twice as big as hammers and have twice the contact area.
I know that the contact area helps to penetrate armor, but what will the size augmentation do? Is it worth the augmentation of the contact area?

Im not familiar with the mechanics fo the game but i would assume that the 2x Size and the same contact area would mean 2x the penetration as the pressure per cm^2 is doubled, but as the contact area is also doubled the pressure and therefore the penetration is the same, except the weapon does more overall damage (due to having more weight). Being twice the size I assume it can be used at half the rate of a hammer?

Don't forget Maces. I had a Macelord with an Artifact silver mace... he kicked ass.

Heavy like a hammer, pointy like a spear. ( at least kind of ). Plus a hammer with spikes on is much more Dwarfy IMO :)
Maces don't have spikes on them - they can have flanges or knobs to pierce armor, but they're otherwise blunt. If you're picturing a spiked ball on a stick, then you're thinking of a morning star.

Ah, yes. Thought the distinction between a morning-star and a mace was that a morning-star was on a chain... i guess thats a Flail that happens to have a morning-star on the end.
Still, maces are kinda pointy:

Bug that creates Quantum-Stockpile of Mood components?
Seeing as you cant sell em its kinda a moot point. But i guess somethign that expensive will attract attention to the fort.
So now if the mug gets lost/stolen will its creator explode in rage with the force of a Giga-Urist Magma-Cannon?
