Lost in underground cavern while on quest to kill a dragon in the underground cavern....

Forced to quit and give in to starvation as I cant get out of the cave and the game just got to absolutly no fun :(

Yeah, I'm pretty sure hes killing actual constructed walls.  It could be that he is just charging in as its being constructed and bashing it in the final second before it becomes a full wall, but I think that time frame is very small if non-existent.

I actually get the message "Blah has toppled a marble wall".

And I don't know what the original Asci character for it is as I'm using Mayday.

So, difference between Forgotten Beasts and Demons is that Demons are either stuck underground or on the surface while FB's are in caverns?

I tend to use a twisting hallway of retracting spikes hooked to a lever for dealing with hostile forgotten beasts. Perhaps you could do something similar with this one? I don't think it'll try to destroy a retracting spike as its being built, but of course you'll have to keep away from the lever. And it is a time consuming process, you're not likely to build enough spikes and hook it up to a lever in time before it's moved on from whatever location you put them at anyway.

Could wall it in. It'll eventually go berserk, rendering it susceptible to your military.
It would break the walls >_>

Thats one pecular problem, i'm trying to push him to the throne room by walling up the central shaft to force him down to the throne room.  He destroys the walls and busts out to destroy more buildings....

Will a Forgotten beat even give in to hunger or anything like that?

Or like other diplomats will it go crazy when it cant have its conversation?

I really don't want to cave in the area around my central shaft as the rock would probably break through the layer below and add a hole going all the way through to the bottom.

On a side note, I thought building destroyers couldn't kill Walls/Floors....

How can I bloody kill it?!

Its running up and down my central shaft popping out to destroy buildings/walls/floors.

Is there a way to take off its building destroyer tag?

Ison the Law Giver, a great noseless bear twisted into humanoid form.  It undulates rhythmically.  Its taupe hair is patchy.  Beware its poisonous sting!

Hes just wandering up and down my Main Shaft destroying any buildings it comes near >_>.  Seems unable to go to the meeting with my Baron because hes sidetracked by things to destroy...

I also suspect if he ever got to the meeting he would promptly destroy the chair.

Not very diplomatic of him :(

What should I do?

So, my baddarse Militia Commander went out and single handedly downed a Forgoten Beast Crocadile with Poison Blood.

Now the Commander has a pulsing Miasma around her.... Whats going to happen to her?

Reloading to prior to fighting poison Croc.   Will send in a lesser fighter to kill it, or kill it with something other then an Axe.

Ok I set Weather to NO in the D_Init but its still raining >_<.

Oh, and I did save/restart.
weather isn't so much a "happens/doesn't happen" switch as "changes/doesn't change". It was raining when you set the init option to NO meaning weather no longer changes. Ergo, permanent rain.
Thanks will turn it back on and wait for the rain to stop.

What I want is a way to sell prepaired food w/o selling the barrel :(

When you go into the trade menu, can't you choose the individual meals in addition to / instead of the entire barrel? I know that when they bring a finished goods bin to the depot, I can trade individual mugs for the precious, precious logs.

No, prepaired meals are special it seems.  Since they take up the whole barrel (like a liquid or something) you cant select the item out of the barrel.
