That was beautiful.

I wouldn't be surprised...but I'd say that she's quite a good addition even if she indeed got "slipped in"...and yes...that was beautiful. Almost poetic.

ensemble requires lvl30 performer --allows you to play without a music instrument (if the pet adds bonus, im not sure)
So basically Air Guitar...you're so good the audience won't even notice your not playing music. Sweet...hopefully you can rock out with your pets too and be a Travelling Mariachi Band of DEATH! And thanks for explaining the dice damage thing. I wasn't totally clear with that myself.

Maybe Predator class can be like the ones in the movies...then you can actually clash with the Alien type enemies so that it comes full circle.

Been doing Party Time quests and failing intentionally cuz' I'm just focusing on Beggars and NPCs weaker than me to steal their stuff (And I can't play any instrument  anyway). The minimal Fame drop is nothing. The aphrodisiacs are everywhere in that place....will the increased friendship status via drunkin' partying carry over outside?

^Heh, guess I'll just go for the "I'm just that damn good" reasoning.

Encountered a bug...somehow I'm unable to report my success to Shena and she forever loops the "how is it going?" line (must be from saving and leaving after finishing the quest or something I did that I don't remember) even though I've cleared the thieves hideout.

It annoyed me enough that I just made a new character (Servant Race, Claymore class). Funny how the Tutorial instructor just went ahead and got drunk while teaching (hey, easy early money). 1st dream also had a wizard teach me a Resurrection spell, so that's nifty.

Also tried jumping in (& save-scumming) Moongates. Ended up in a church town dedicated to Jure, a small house filled with an angel maid & stuff, A large custom home with lotsa' Little Sisters/Young Ladies (so many nifty stuff that needs stealing, yet have no such skills)...and a seemingly quiet snow town. That is until I hear several death messages. I of course broke every rule in horror movie survival by not running the hell out and decided to search for the source...came to the largest building/main hall(?) as more death can be heard...opened the doors...and as expected, high leveled tentacle horrors and such (Like a comedy sketch, I then closed the door & they opened it & peeked right back, no points on guessing how that ended).

Oh! a coupe of questions:
- Will "acquiring" an important/town NPC (for ranch or whatever) have little effect and a new one will eventually respawn and take over for the original?
- Will ranch grown special entities have different equipment as well that can be confiscated?
- Will wishing for a God just make them appear there before you and they'll just decide to hang out (won't leave your house, drink your booze, etc)? Can you bind them to you as well?
- Raw cursed panties....worth tasting?
- Any other version that might be interesting or other nice graphic packs (still reading through this thread...so, so, sooo random)?

So thanks to you guys I've also gotten hooked to this game upon my discovery...

Started out using Elona ELM version with Deon's graphics (love it, should be linked to new players too as I've only luckily stumbled upon it).

I've read up a lot of the pages here and the wiki and is starting out quite nicely enough...until I wore a cursed outfit that occasionally sucks my blood, teleports me and seemingly steal some pocket change I think. I also found it amusing that I got a bottle of my own blood pop out as I was travelling the map (should happen more often, I'm my own blood selling source!)

Also just chose a God upon leveling up to 4...now I just need to uncurse myself, getting distracted by bleeding while tapping Shena's ass is starting to get annoying...bleeding on her is just rude. Unless she's into that...

Also plan to keep my 1st Little Girl for RP purposes. Kinda' like Rance....only with less rape.

Oh, yeah...why do quicky coitus drive the NPC people slightly insane? Is my character that good or is ether love juices after effect that potent? Well, I do find them suddenly dancing around after stripping naked and such amusing.

Whoever keeps marking Sengoku Rance as a 30-50 hour VN is a total liar.  Unless you only want to play 1/4 of the game.

Also 5 star was freakin hard, never again

That man has noble goal and a true dream...if that's what it takes man...*salutes*

Can't I just make fun of tvtropes without starting an irrelevant 2 page argument??
It's basically like saying: "What could possibly go wrong?", "You and what army?", "Nothing could stop us now!" and "How could this get any worse?" Fate is a whimsical goddess...as is Lady Luck.

Just read Shingeki no Kyojin (Advancing Giants). It went from "seemed silly" to "pretty f%&%^*D up"...artwork is ok and all. It amused me enough...

> QUESTION: Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha has always been in my "I should check it out" list to watch...is it ok/better to go directly and watch the movie versions instead without missing much at all? Seems it could save time and just jump on whatever seasons is next after it. So to those who've seen it, recommended viewing order is.....?

Oh yes, also agreed. If you somehow get grouped into lots of anime fans, you can be sure someone will pester you with kawaiis and desus. Either that, or they'll tell you a lot of facts for things you didn't even ask about.
There are always people like that in all walks of life. I remember some of my responses to those who really overdo it are: "No, didn't know that anime factoid nor do I care", "Yes, I know she's the town bicycle...so?", "No, I don't give a damn who that movie star is currently having a fling with", "Who are you & how did you keep getting in my house?"

Anywho...just watched Hyouka. What's this? A locked door mystery with no one murdered? With a realistically simple & feasible explanation? With no random ordinary everyday guy with a knack for overly complicated impromptu plan to eliminate those who wronged them? In Anime Japan?

...Gotta' admit...it was rather refreshing actually.

Really high banditry, and live in caves?
Ehrm...more armed & armored/clothed monsters & mobs. Basically like Sandraiders in the deserts...they don't really have a "proper" civ or site (like normal animals) kinda like small nomadic hostile tribes. They have weapons to take out animals around them or shoot at you for looking at them funny and wander around their "territory".

But I guess for now they need an actual hometown to produce those breatsplates and arrows...oh well...

QUESTION: Currently, is it possible to create nomadic creatures/ wandering bandits like those subterranean bat/reptile/serpent/etc men upland among us...you know, lightly armed and clothed, small camps, the works. Or is it still limited underground? Will new entities added in/upgraded simply exists but still be very naked (or even disappear completely or other odd turn abouts).

I just want more small yet intelligent guys wanting to kill/bug me. Also I just feel like making Tigermen a more civilized wandering tribe.

Been having fun just adding weird greeting interactions to random creatures like: hugging dogs, winged pets high-fives, merchant wagon beasts greeting your fortress local ones upon arriving by slapping each other...why yes, Yaks do slap each other to say hello (theoretically)
Modded in a civilization that lives in oceans and builds towns. Swam out to one of their towns, everyone was dead. Then I realized; the ocean froze over night.
Oh yeah, I remember that I once tried making a Mermaid civ once...that...didn't work out so well (For one DF didn't like to have underwater towns aside from other "complications").

Wait...wouldn't that mean that every winter thousands of sea creatures die from freezing in cold seas and rivers or does it not happen when you're not there to see it? Schrodinger yo'~

The official Goblin greeting:
Code: [Select]
[CAN_DO_INTERACTION:C_KICK]
[CDI:ADV_NAME:Crotch Kick]
[CDI:USAGE_HINT:GREETING]
[CDI:BP_REQUIRED:BY_CATEGORY:FOOT]
[CDI:VERB:crotch-kick:crotch-kicks:crotch kicked]
[CDI:CAN_BE_MUTUAL]
[CDI:TARGET:A:SELF_ONLY]
[CDI:TARGET:B:TOUCHABLE]
[CDI:TARGET_RANGE:B:1]
[CDI:MAX_TARGET_NUMBER:B:1]
[CDI:WAIT_PERIOD:20]
This would explain the the low Goblin population. Was also tempted to add the cat cleaning interaction to elves...

It's the Inverse Ninja rule.

When alone, a single Kobold or Goblin infiltrator has a high chance of being/becoming a high dodging, limb cutting badass (especially world gen ones with a long history and career).

Regrowing limbs is easy. Just have a 1-step long transformation.
Yeah, but won't that heal all of the dwarf's other wounds, too?
Pretty much...some of us like to keep some noteworthy scars. Like that one time a demon carved out a nasty one in my adventurer's left eye with it's horns. Now I have a badass battle wound (because I survived too).
