If the body is recoverable, you can build a coffin for him to be placed in.
Then because of his added weight, the coffin is now a more effective weapon:

Now I rather want to raise an enemy's internal temperature (through stabbing, of course) and watch them go thermonuclear.
Yeeaahh....I can do that too...

So it went: Got stuck> explodes> boiled all his blood >bled to death

But like a lot of my "spells", it's a "double edged sword"...I was too close so I'm on fire myself. Sometimes they last long enough to generate smoke too...fun times.

Thought that when I tried to grab my opponent's weapon, I'd be able to wrestle it away from them. Grabbed a sword, apparently by the blade, and cut an artery. Passed out from blood loss almost instantly, and several pages of instantaneous combat text later, I bled to death.
Wait...that's possible now? You sure he didn't miss or got your hand cut? Interesting...

Mmm, my Freezing throwing knives are still far from perfect but what the heck...
[INORGANIC:FREEZE]
   [USE_MATERIAL_TEMPLATE:SUBSTANCE_TEMPLATE]
   [STATE_NAME:ALL:ice]
   [STATE_ADJ:ALL:ice]
   [SPEC_HEAT:7000]
   [MAT_FIXED_TEMP:1000]
   [IGNITE_POINT:16000]

that's one of the things I use (some of the other mods have cold templates that can be a better example)...but it's definitely just a "for fun" thing. It just takes a veeerrry loooong time to actually freeze someone completely because it's not continuous effect all the time probably because of the other temperature factors (you're freezing!you're freezing!you're freezing! ooops, it warmed up OH! you're freezing!you're freezing!, etc).

Freezing their lungs or brain is what usually kills them...crushing their skulls is faster but it's just satisfying to look at an Elf as his head slowly freezes from a enchanted knife stuck in his mouth (frostbite slowly spreads from the mouth, then the teeth, then the whole head, what FUN!).

Sorry, firebreathing is for AI's only. Though you could do what some of us did and just add some custom reactions like magic missiles, fire & ice knives, etc.

You could go for something simpler like changing:
   [ATTACK:PUNCH:BODYPART:BY_TYPE:GRASP]

to this:
   [ATTACK:GORE:BODYPART:BY_TYPE:GRASP]

It will be more like turning 100% of your fist's (even feet) tissue unto horn like damage. I've seen hands and heads fly with it.

The thing about eggs is...  stealing a dragon's egg is all well and good in adventurer mode, but what do you DO with it once you've stolen it?
Beat it's mother to death with it...and pretty much anything using only the dragon egg.

Hopefully something "interesting" hatches out from an egg drenched in the blood of thousands...

Heh, now Adventure Mode is going to have Monster Hunter quests?

Peasant: A rathian has been terrorizing our village!
Peasant: Ridgedcurses is a half day's journey to the west.
Peasant: Seek out the eggs of Queendeserts the Embodiment of Earth and return with one egg.
Heh, a dragon is terrorizing the town yet all they want is it's eggs for omlettes...

Talk about priorities...Chicken eggs for breakfast are for wusses. Dragon omlettes, breakfast of Champions!!!

I've done this quite a lot some time ago in another far away world:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

But I would love to do this in-game as well......then Rumrusher and me will try to do unspeakable things with it, but that's another story.

Appaerntly everyone loves me now, before I had 2 or 3 friends, but now look...

 :D
Yes...In DF, friendship/companionship is best shown through murder. Just to be clear, preferably the other guys they don't like...and yet sometimes even that is...

Hmm....do GORE type damage still register for weapons? Cuz' as fas as I know GORE type is a hybrid of BLUNT & EDGE that's why it's used for horns and such...might be perfect for medieval guns.

So you didn't even remember that it was that thing that killed you last time?

....Huh...I know adventurers are expendable, but geez...

Dwarven bandits are very rare compared to humans or goblins. You usually get attacked by them near the mountains from my experience.
I think vanilla DF doesn't have dorf or elven bandits (I just added mine among other things...though there may actually be some on mix race bandit groups).

Don't confuse bandits with some Civ's border patrols...sometimes they'll just wake you from your slumber & shout out their group's name but not attack at all if your civ's doesn't have past troubles (they can be attacked by "bumping" unto them but talking is a better option). I guess they're just warning you to not bring trouble in their territory or something.

Love how the names are usually right on or somewhat philosophical/metaphorical...or horribly ironic...
