Though, dragon leather is probably not that strong. =/
We probably really won't care that much...for now we'd just be happy wearing a 1000 year old dragon's  helm, armor & cape set.

Yeah, too bad all the armor is made too big for anyone to wear.
Hmm, what are the reaction RAWs for this? Would like to try myself. Oh...will they still be too big even when they're just made from small vultures or racoons?

Is it possible to edit raws to have a human adventurer to be able to eat other humans and humanoids?
No. Not even animals will eat sentients(or at least not until their hungry, Im not sure)
Actually, sometimes they will...

When you get killed, you still have a "field of vision" right? Once when a pair of large predators killed me, one sat on top of my corpse and after a few seconds I lost what limited "vision" I had.

Conclusion: It ripped and ate my eyes/head and pretty much enjoyed a high level adventurer feast.

Tried the new stuff on the update...been collecting unicorn hair, meat, hearts, etc. Wish that soon I'll be able to craft my own Unicorn Horn spears and pikes, make a nifty skull totem to sell and make a GCS armor. A taste of what's to come~

And Bronze Colossus are killable now (no wamblers needed)...they can still be a challenge though especially with if your still using weak weapons.

He didn't even bleed or anything.
Guess a direct rabid bite to the brain will do that to you...

Found this amazingly true image on the Facepunch forums. It's NOT by me but it's brilliant.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Edit: Saw a thread posted about this two threads below this one. Lol.
*sniff* poetry...

The only thing it lacks is an epic beard.

Who are you? Sigmund Freud?
Hah, with all the random weirdness and double entrendes in DF, Freud should be breakdancing in his grave for years now creating minor seismic activity now every now and then.

Do dwarves have a tendency to go prematurely bald?
I see more bald dwarves than dwarves with a mullet, thats for sure.
I think it's the head hair to beard ratio thing...with gravity's help, dwarves with awesome beards tend to redirect all nutrients into it leaving the "upper mountain devoid of trees" so to speak. They say only the most bad-ass dwarves can grow long head and beard hair equally without the help of goblin and elf blood and puke.

I went to a few goblin fortresses to find that all there was were humans and enslaved children. I picked up three prisoner children and went into the wilderness. We were ambushed by a black bear. I decided to watch what would happen... three children versus a female black bear. The results were lolsy at best...

I stepped back and immediately the children all attacked. The first two kept getting dodged, but the third actually managed to grab the bear by the throat and hold on for a while before getting charged into a lake. After falling into the water, the child began drowning. The other two children charged the bear and the bear and one of the remaining children fell in. The bear and non-drowning child began under-water mortal combat. The bear bit the kid in the arm a few times, so the kid got out and ran away. The bear followed, and was attacked by the last remaining child. The first to go into the water had finally drowned by this time. The bear attacked the child and they spent a while just dodging away from eachother. After a couple minutes of this, the wounded child came out of nowhere and shoulderslammed the bear back into the water.

What happened next made me laugh harder than anything else so far...

The game lagged out for a couple of turns while the kids took turns pushing the bear back into the water every time it tried to get out... Then the lake froze... xD

I think your either the best or the worst camp councilor ever...though I do admit that Bear Wrestling is a very interesting camp activity. They should implement that...

Actually, there should be [CARNIVORE], [OMNIVORE], and [HERBIVORE] tags. Eating people should be up to you, depending on what type of food your adventurer eats, but defy your civ's norms and you will pay an awful price. For example, carnivores and omnivores should technically be able to eat corpses (or meat) without ill-effects, and herbivores shouldn't be able to eat corpses without throwing up or other ill-effects. However, the civ's ethics should determine their reaction to your corpse-eating.
Mm, I'm talking about adventure mode's "licks this and that" thing. Meaning that all your victims are food source right there and then.

Underground travelling cannibal elves would love it, all the food and drink they'll need with every kill as they search the abyss for subterranean trees to hug...

I didn't want to fight them, because I had taken off most of my armor to switch it out for the demon's exceptional leather stuff... I figured they'd kill me, so I ran for the woods. Almost a day of running and there were only two townspeople, the shopkeeper and some other random guy, still chasing me.
So the rest either gave up and went home or were eaten by wolves. Yay?

Oh, and kudos to oneshot-ing the last pursuers. Did you eventually went all out on the town?

Urist McAdventurer: Man, I'm hungry. *pulls out Elf brain* Mmm... lunch.
Human McWarlord: What the hell, man?! Why you eatin' that poor elf's brain?!
Urist: ... Because I like it.
Human McWarlord: EVERYONE IN TOWN! KILL THAT LITTLE MONSTER
Town:RARRARKILLKILLEVENTHOUGHHESGOTLIKEEIGHTSHIELDSANDCLOWNITEWEAPONSRARARAR
Better than the old and usual "eat a pixie and lick a severed arm of someone they know while wearing some little girls skirt yet nobody finds it weird or creepy".

Hopefully a [CANNIBALISM] tag of sorts get added which makes elves (or anyone with it) able to actually eat the corpses of their victims raw.

Oh, so many happy cannibalistic adventurers there will be...

DF Adventure Mode Discussion / Re: How can i kill a bronze collosus?
« on: July 06, 2010, 12:29:11 am »
Yes. As in, the surge of the Bronze Colossus' powerful fist surging through your torso.
Ah. That is why you must first make sure the Colossus is not moving! A good way to do this is to stand next to a tree and wait for the Colossus charge you. Quickly jump out of the way and as the colossus slams into the tree he will fall over. Now before he gets up grab his nose! This is how you obtain the gift.
Despite the similarities...the Bronze Colossus ain't a Buddha statue, despite both being in complete zen.

...Though one of them tends to give enlightenment through it's fists.

Does launching wolves into people agro them?
Launch as in throw them...while alive? Well, as of now you can't even aim where you throw them, and even if you could with the current system, they'll take it as a hostile action by you.

Still prefer this method though...

That's me watching the show in a safe distance. Oh and I love the meat shops name :)

You see he wants you to make it look like an accident.
I am suddenly very curious whether that is even possible.
Is it?
Well, you could "accidentaly" set a fire near the target and wait 'till they cook. Or you could "accidentaly" drop several burning leather stuff around/ below the target.

You could even "accidentally" lead several wild (preferably large & vicious) animals & beasts to their homes at sleepy nap time at night and let them do the dirty deed (Or if a civ's at war with them, bring over a recruit at night and let them do the strangling).

Let your dark imagination run wild...so many ways...
