Life Advice / A question about ASCII game making.

I really want to make an ASCII game (Free roaming) but I do not know how to program (or what I have to use to program) so where could I learn how? (Without costing money)

This is a forum game where you play as a sadistic killer. I am thinking of some traits for the killer so feel free to suggest some. (Edit) I have thought of some traits 
(Stutters when stressed): This will make our killer stutter when under stress (Breaking in to a house, police interogation etc)
(Voices in head): This will make the killer have occasional voices in his head, telling him to do certain things (Kill an X with a Y, Mutilate X body part of yours etc)
(Raptor foot) He has a raptor like artificial foot.
(Cannibal) Can, and takes joy in eating other humans
(Sadist) Enjoys killing painfully
(Impatient)Has a habit of killing because things don't go his way.

DF Suggestions / Adventurers need to be less wimpy when butchering.And adventure mode soap.

You know, when you go to butcher certain things it will say that "you are not that hungry" I think you should be able to butcher things that you killed anytime because if you're heartless enough to kill it you should be heartless enough to butcher it.
*edit* I have another suggestion, you should be able to make soap with butchered fat which will prevent infection if it is applied to a wound.

And just be classed as an enemy.The reason why I think this would be good is because all it takes is 1 wrong kill order to destroy your entire fortress and this would prevent it.

DF Suggestions / An "Ignore Creature" option

An option while viewing a creature to make dwarfs ignore it unless it attacks them or destroys a building.The reason why I am suggesting this is so it stops "Urist McCoward cancels action:Build floodgate, interrupted by harmless butterfly" interruptions.

General Discussion / How well will my cpu handle a mature 60 dwarf fort?

My cpu speed is 2612.0 MHz so will that have any impact on a mature DF fort?
