I had a bunch of dwarves that were pretty useless as they were the rejects from the last migrant wave.The talented leatherworker migrant decides to make an artifact and he grabs giant ant chiten (Genesis Mod creature) and some Draltha leather, and starts working away on a....a....oh the suspen-

What should I do with this traitor?Drown him?

Elven merchants decided it would be smart to go onto my teritiory and I decided to plan their demise, but wait!I don't have a trade depot!And I am working on my giant tower that collapses into magma when a certain lever is pulled so I just ignored them and they went stark raving mad even though there was a clear way out of my fortress.

Are my dwarfs really that annoying?

I am suggesting that in caverns there might be a destroyed underground city somewhere.It should be like a regular city except with corpses scattered around the place, buildings destroyed, some walls destroyed, undead roaming freely and perhaps a megabeast.

So what wacky things have happened while you were playing with duplicate raws?Steel ore people?fish cities?

I decided to do the good 'ol bridge over troubled magma migrant execution and the magma didn't effect them AT ALL!they drowned in it instead of burning to death, was this just a one off thing or a massive glitch?

You know about the hidden fun stuff right?yes?that's wonderful now what I am suggesting is that when you mine through to hell it should have more apocolyptic things happening to the world such as:

The sea turning into deadly blood

Any underground water turning into deadly blood.

Lakes turning into deadly blood

Increased savagery slowly spreading around the world

Increased evil biomes spreading around the world

All beverages slowly turning into deadly blood (this should slowly spread across the world)

All meat rotting away much faster (this should slowly spread across the world)

Demons taking over cities and claming them as their own (this should probably be put in if there is a feature to make towns always hostile)

Worlds soil slowly turning into ash

Deadly rain

Animals getting possesed and going on killing sprees

More violent behaviour in towns

Towns religons saying that their gods wrath is upon the world (with violent god worshipping religions)

Towns religions saying that their god must have forsaken them (with non violent god worshipping religions)

Heat increasing slowly

Plants dieing very fast


What do you think about these?

Life Advice / Massive virus issues

My virus scanner is Eset Smart Security and this is what happened,I was scanning the PC one day and it found 3 viruses but didn't do shit about them, they didn't infect other files though so I thought that it would be intelligent to leave them.Now I have 15 infections and most of them have infected my virus scanner and it STILL dosen't do anything about it.Help me!

There's no doubt about it,dwarfs get stuck behind their own creations all the time so is there away to save Urist McMason without mining past the wall?

I am making an arena to make my migrants fight each other now I just have a few questions

1:Will my migrants (In military of course) attack eachother if ordered to?
2:Will my dwarfs that go to kill the useless migrants be classed as enemies even though they killed a migrant who is classed as an enemy?
3:Will my surviving migrants (being marked as an enemy to the civ and all that) attack any dwarfs?

Alright for my main fortress defence I have a large narrow hallway like this

Now I want to put traps on every floor space so that not even flying mounts will get through,the question is;what traps should I use?

Are any traps automatic after pulling the lever?Because if they are I am most likely to go for them
Do any traps knock things backwards?because magma HURTS invaders.
What is the most overpowered non ranged trap?
