Meh, I found it on a website a while back. Nano-age or something.

Nanotechnology should be available within 15 years, so in about 15-25 years we could have nanobots that can kill the bacteria instead. Ofcourse, if a super-bug that beats all known antibiotics comes to exist before then, we may be screwed.

You know it's winter when your hands manage to get so cold you can hardly move your fingers, just from standing outside for 20 minutes.

I think it's more the pleasant feeling of going from cold to warm, rather than just being warm.

I kind of hate being warm, I need to be just slightly chilly to be really comfortable.
I agree, slightly cold often helps me with indigestion/heartburn and concentration. Apparently this rain is mostly 'light snow'. There'll probably be another dip in temperatures which makes it too cold for snow till February or maybe, God willing, December.  >:(

Trenchcoats are badass. Especially in rain. And thick ones have definite functionality when it hails in UK. I'd wear one, but I've never actually seen anybody wearing one around here and if it isn't raining (and I don't have a revolver) I'd just look weird.
That's not the right attitude.
You don' t know the pain.

Thanks, sounds good. The "goodie house" seems to be like Golems and stuff in AI war, which are awesome.

Winter here is best when its sunny and not windy at all.

Any wind at all makes walking depressingly cold.
You have a point. It's blowing gales today and my sinuses are now sore as hell.

I haven't tried Distant worlds yet. People go on and on about the automation, what's actually so awesome about that? I can't find much other than reviews that go on about the automation and the official feature list. By the sounds of it, you set the automation up and everything is done for you, which doesn't sound like much fun. How much actual player input is there?

I prefer that in winter. It seems colder when the sun's out, but it's still freezing cold.
