I am sad now. I think my CMOS, my graphics card and my networking software have all buggered up. The former can be worked around by restarting a few times, but the beep is just gut wrenching 
. The latter seem to be giving me BSODs every 10 restarts. I'll probably replace them all to find it's something else.

I tried this a while back, it's playerbase is too small to be honest. It'd be awesome if exploring further out actually yielded more awesome player-inhabited worlds but the last time that I played there were about 5 planets with anything on them.

FYI, there aren't authentication/invitation keys AFAIK. You need to have signed up for the beta with your email, then sign up with that email. This may change as the beta seems to be failing.
