If Kevins eyes could bore holes in the ceiling, they would.

rafno turns everything in a 10 mile radius into jelly creatures except himself

And with that Kevin's goals of information gathering were halted.

Dammit.

Meh, eventually something will come up. With that thought he stared at the ceiling or pretended to sleep until he healed up or was interrupted.

231
Kevin's smirk turned into a frown.
In retrospect he should have cut the stuttering girls arm off at the store just to be safe, heck, why not all her limbs, they seem to be cheap in this city.
The doctor was right. He was careless and it nearly got him killed and then put in a position that didn't bring back fond memories. Now he'll be useless for the rest of the day. Kevin decided to change the subject with some goals in mind.

"Harder than it looks. She seemed genuinely in need of help, but boy was I played like a piano." He responded.

His hair blocked the light of the indoor artificial lighting from reaching his eyes.

Kevin turned to the nurse with a smirk on his face. It was something about the way the nurse took him seriously at the remark. Perhaps it wasn't all that funny given the context or, come to think of it, this nurse is probably around a lot of people whom would say stuff like this and be serious about it.

The doctors remark confirmed the later.

"A joke, I am sorry" He turned back to the Doctor definitely not sorry.

233
"I'm allergic to knives, apparently." He would have to get additional information somewhere else...... In the mean time it's probably best to heal up. He'll worry about identifying the poison in that girl later.

234
((Yes, I probably should haha.))

"You can call me Kevin." He rested his left hand on the bandages over his stomach and then signed and placed the waiver on the nightstand looking thingy next to him.

"I got a knife to the stomach from a relative stranger as a parting gift and a few other minor wounds that I noticed." He paused.

He tried to sit up but the lack of intact muscles in his abdomen prevented him from doing so and he winced in pain.

"Do you happen to know what the hell happened."

Kevin took the pen. Was just about to sign when he heard footsteps.

He paused and took the time to notice a new face walking towards him.

"Who am I about to meet?" He half asks the nurse

Create a sentient cloud to keep you company using the spirit weather abilities you have studied for so long.

Make a quick list of spells we want to create, and put the list in our pocket.

1. Dice Divination. Predict the outcome of the next roll some dice will make.
2. Detect Thoughts. Listen in on the surface thoughts of someone you're looking at.
3. Combat Prediction. Recipient reflexively knows what's coming in combat and it helps him dodge and attack.
4. Wizard Eye. Create an invisible floating point of view that you see through. It can move around as fast as a human walking. It can't phase through solids but can slip through keyholes and under doors.

Then, answer the door. Try very hard to not look surprised at whatever is on the other side. We should know, after all.
+1
