Congratulations, Max!
Thanks! Things are going really well.

You are the very best.

Edit: Holy smokes, someone just donated $100!

Edit2: It's time for Ghost Pepper sauce!

Edit3: We hit $830. Our goal was $200. We expected to hit $100. This message certainly belongs in this thread.

Hey, all! My friends and I are doing a charity stream on Twitch! We're playing Man of Medan and raising some money for Stream For A Cause. If you show up and donate anything and say you're from Bay12, I'll do a spoonful of habaņero hot sauce. If we get to $500, I'll do a spoon of Dave's Insanity Ghost Pepper/Naga Jalokia.

Yes, this is actually MZ, and I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but I'm super excited to be part of the charity effort and want to spread the word as much as possible. We're going to be streaming until midnight EST! Even if you can't donate, still at the very least stop by and say hi!

Things have been rough. Another surgery on the 15th, and then 6 weeks after that, and then 6 weeks after that.

On the plus side, I'm hosting a charity event this weekend. I'll post a thread closer to the time.

Not since before I was born. A long time before I was born. I turn 37 this month.

"Chance of children:none" sounds to me like a bug where the UI assumes that both partners are entering into a gay marriage based on sexuality, in which case it'd be correct, when that's clearly not the case to us.
One of the parties may be sick, as well. I married one of my daughters off to get an alliance that would result in no children. He recovered from Typhus (that I didn't realize he had,) and they went on to have six.

Not super drunk, just a little buzzed. I picked up my guitar for the first time in ages. My pain level is finally low enough to actually pick the damn thing up. Everyone is always like, "Oh, wow, you're doing great!" but all I hear is missed notes and a cacophony of suckage. I also seem to have lost my capo.

If it gets too out of control, you can always dump and atom smash them with a bridge.

It's alive! I've resurrected my computer.

Nothing seems damaged. There was a lot of dust, of course, and a spot of corrosion on the video card. RAM looks fine, mobo looks fine, HDD looks fine. Nothing but the power supply smells burnt. I think I dodged a bullet, but I'm still anxious.

Also, I know that I know what I'm doing with computers. I have a computer science degree. I've built dozens of computers. Hell, my current machine is a Frankenstein build.

I still feel like I have no idea what I'm doing when I open one up. Anxiety and impostor syndrome suck.

My computer just blew up impressively. Sparks and whatnot.

I knew I shouldn't have bought games. Bad things happen when I spend money on myself.

If life were fiction, the director would be rich and famous, our movies would be often complained about but still highly-grossing.
Fuck, we're being directed by M. Night Shyamalan or Michael Bay.

I am literally nonplussed that someone would say that. That's...fucking stupid. I don't have the words to convey how fucking stupid that is or the energy to properly rage it. I'm sorry that things are the way that they are.

@Vector: It's weird to think that people like you, who are talented, hard working, accomplished, and all around amazing get impostor syndrome. I guess it's not really a rational thing, though.

Thanks, you guys. I feel a lot better about being home for two years and just cashing the disability checks. I do not miss dealing with stupid-ass people.

Isn't that how you wind up with Marmite?
