That's cool. I'll have to remember that. The map I'm currently playing has almost 300 z-levels, so I'm bound to find some, which is okay, but I embarked on a mountain of Limestone. Srsly, the mountain biome that I've got in my 4x4 is made almost entirely of limestone and iron ore. I'm ok with that.

Anyways, I made them grilled cheese with pepper, and my brothers thought I was using the expensive cheese my dad was saving for some dish.
Also, I feel that I gotta apologize for anything. Even though I don't completely understand what exactly went on... :S

No need to apologize. If things get weird and no one enjoys it, then you apologize. It seems that everyone enjoyed themselves, though, so it's all good.

You're extremely lucky, then. Flux only shows up in Sedimentary layers (which have white names on the embark screen) or as marble in metamorphic layers (slate, schist, gneiss, etc.)

Oh, hey, cool stuff.
Project is currently on hiatus (again) as I have a brand new job, a small child to take care of, and am looking for a house so I can have someplace to relax and get work on this done. Maybe someday it'll see the light of day.
