And here I am, stuck with an Associate's degree and nowhere to use it. Can't go for a Bachelor's. Can't afford it. Overqualified for every job under the sun that doesn't require a Bachelor's or some kind of special training or certification, and therefore unemployable by 99% of places that I've applied to.

(My apologies for bitching, but I'm kind of frustrated with the workforce for the commonfolk. Here it's either heavy manual labor (which is nigh impossible with health problems like mine,) or entry level customer service, which I'm too qualified to do. I have a job again, but it's only 7 hours a week.)

So, I haven't seen this yet, but it seems stupidly obvious: For fuck's sake, don't take on too many players for your game. Too few leaves it uninteresting, but too many can swamp your time and/or break the system. Define a hard limit on how many people you're willing/able to run the game for and stick to it.

PTW. I've got a shitload of content/ideas/story/setting/etc for an RPG, but not the knowledge to make it a video game. I will get there eventually, but I hate learning the basics because of my insane competitiveness.

Don't know if it still does this. Caesar 2 did this. It did it a lot.
3 was just as bad, but 4 wasn't so bad about needing to manually assign plebs to every little thing. The military was a joke, though.

MaximumZero, your friendly neighborhood facepuncher here with a repository thread of streams run by your very own forumites. This thread is for those of you who run twitch channels, youtube channels, or upload your video elsewhere on the net, or those of you who are looking for something to watch.

I've created a google doc here for the list of channels. I've started the doc sheet with my buddy's channel that I'm usually on when they're streaming Overwatch (Riders of the Salt,) and a channel that's actually worth watching and frequently updates with high quality content, hosted by Sappho (Aira Plays Games.) I cannot stress enough how much I highly, highly, highly recommend waching Aira Plays Games.

If you want your channel added, post below and I'll try to keep up.

I love the Caesar games, but holy shit are they broken sometimes. Impressions/Sierra/Vivendi made some hypothetically great niche games that were just rife with areas of poor execution and obvious "hustle to ship" issues. I want to love them, I really do, but sometimes the glaring issues are just too much to overcome.
