I've been wanting to play this game again, if anyone knows, I'd also like to know.

I've played all three now.  I hate the Wraith.  The forum cries 24/7 about how he's OP but my thing is this:  His power lets him get right on a survivor, which is nice, but it's not like the other guys can't get on you too.  And once you're on a guy, the Wraith is the only one whose power doesn't help him chase.  Traps are brutal, especially if you put them under windows and obstacle-drops, the chainsaw makes only hardcore juking safe since he can close the gap in an instant, what can the wraith do?

Nothing.  Any half-decent player can keep the Wraith tied up pretty much indefinitely.

Yeah, this is precisely why I'm enjoying him while I can for the first few days of release. Once people start getting better, I'm gonna switch over to Trapper. To be fair though, Wraith has some addons that can really mess with people, specifically the one that puts you in stealth if you decloak without moving, meaning no heartbeats, so he's pretty heavy on going SURPRISE!

I played the beta and am loving playing the Wraith, it would be fun to play some private games with people since we can all use our items/offerings/addons without losing them, even though we won't get points for it. It would still be fun practice with people and we can test out just how effective certain things are.

Also, the perk system can get really, REALLY strong, like stuff that lets people sabotage hooks without needing a toolbox, or if the killer stands still for 6/4/3 seconds their terror aura/heartbeats go away.

Definitely count me in for the drawing, been waiting for a legit harvest moon type game for PC.

Wow, I'm surprised I never posted in this thread before, is there a guild or a list of names to add bay12 people into my friend list?

I usually play in the non-hardcore leagues cause my connection is very unreliable.

Got a bug which crashes my game whenever I try to identify something, how should I send the save file?

I wasn't complaining about how hard it'd be, just that it'd be annoying to have to deal with it while trying to keep pace with the scaling of the mob's strength, if there is any at all during Walk in the Park. It didn't tell me maniac mode, so it's not as absurd with enough agility anyway.

But if we're discussing Demon Lord avoidance tactics... I like Force User's Paralyze, running through a town, running past a ghost. Scroll of Stonewall is also pretty funny if you enter the "Treasure Chest hiding a stack of mobs" dungeons. Just turn, read the scroll, walk away. There's also always good ol' high agility.

Running through town is pretty great when you know Demon Lord is almost ready to leave. "What's this? You have a Dark Brotherhood License and a Key of Seals to sell? Demon Lord! Help me out here." Bonus points if the merchant also has a buddy tablet.

Also, random tip that I forget sometimes. "Save Attendants are still merchants." Just enter the screen for buying save crystals. If you're carrying things for the sake of selling, don't forget about them if they're the only ones available in town. It's kind of hard to remember that when you're trying no save runs.

It told me to hit the end of the world in Walk in the Park. I've never actually tried this. I kinda want to try it to see if it can be done, but then I kinda don't cause it feels like it'd be a pain to keep trying to move away from the demon lord the entire time.

Anyone planning on setting up a server for Bay12 to play on? It could be amusing for a bunch of people to start building a complex fort in the middle of town just because we can.

Yep. I am pretty much experiencing this with my first Hero run. Oneshots everything including boxes, almost no exceptions. I'm at about 1900 km in but I'm so sleep deprived I'm taking a break for now and actually saving for once. I haven't been able to locate a holy weapon, unfortunately. This game just seems to go on forever when you're going the distance.

That's going to be a short lived reload when you get back to that game then. Enjoy the epic music!

Oh no, the entrance to the holy shrine is covered by mountains and I have no mountain climbing, whatever shall I do?

I don't know what else to do now.

Maybe beat the game with all classes doing that?

I tried Comic Book Hero's demo for a while and thought it was pretty fun for what I played. http://www.greydogsoftware.com/cbh/

You can play a pre-gen character for the entire game in a demo but if you buy, you can make your own character.

Careful, the art style is a bit off putting, but since this is Bay12, I'm sure it'll be okay.

Stats and attribute upgrades are all bought with experience and stuff and you can customize them a lot, though beyond the basics of power levels, stuns, heals, smashes/piercing/elemental/magical/energy attacks, most of it is flavor. The game seems very geared towards someone who wants to roleplay a character as it gets a bit dull after a while mechanically if you just aim for complete optimization, that is, you can become 'Superman in Gotham' if you just go in an area where the villains are more 'realistic'.

I recommend giving the demo a try at least, see if it's interesting enough.

This is so close to getting funded, if anyone has been on the fence, now's the time to really decide if this will go through or not.

Well... I got really lucky early on, by nabbing The Lucky Cookie. I don't know how many times you're really supposed to be allowed to click on it, but I clicked on it each time it appeared 13 times.

Each time you click on it, you get a 6 added to the digit of cookies it rewards you

6,666,666,666,666 is almost incomprehensible even.
