Wait, Hamas dismissed it? then israel must be wrong. i mean, why believe the filthy evil israelis when the peaceful organization says he didn't do what he preached to do mere 2 months ago, and tried to do more than 60 times in the last year alone. nah, no chance hamas did it.

Hamas also dismisses the fact he is tormenting palestines lives, is a terrorist organization and is hiding active combatants in civilian homes, hospitals and ambulances and behind innocent children and women. thank allah i was personally there and saw it so i know its true.

And yes, palestines were killed during firefights with israeli forces and all hail the small difference of kidnapping and killing 3 innocent teenagers and getting killed while trying to fight israeli soldiers!

And yes, palestines were also killed during air strikes on the gaza strip (Although, show me the facts. from all we know, they may have been executed by hamas for not letting it shoot rockets from their homes, or were killed by palestines missiles. both happens a lot.) all hail the difference between a kidnap-murder and an unfortunate accident. all hail the difference between targeting civilian houses like what hamas does, and actively trying to avoid it.

(Hamas kills a baby, blames israel:
http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Journalism/2013/03/11/U-N-Corrects-Record-Palestinians-Not-Israelis-Killed-Infant-Son-Of-BBC-Journalist)

And yes, the homes of the killers and kidnappers were flattened. what do you expect? that israel wont retaliate? that it shouldn't discourage seeing kidnapping of israelis as profitable? That it should just send a formal complaint to the U.N?

I say lets plead the U.N to recognize ISIS caliphate.

422
The supposed kidnappers are hamas operatives, the kidnapping and escaping were professionally executed and uncharacteristic of independent groups.

Also, it need to be understood that israel have prevented more than 60 kidnapping attempts, mostly coordinated by hamas, this last year alone. the fact one succeeded is very sad, but not surprising since hamas put most of its efforts in kidnapping israelis since its very politically profitable for them.

"as recently as April, Hamas Prime Minister in Gaza Isamil Haniyeh insisted that “abducting Israeli soldiers is a top priority on the agenda of Hamas and the Palestinian resistance.”

There are several theories.
1) Hamas didn't really want that unification happening because it feared Fatah overtaking gaza strip. (Unlikely because most experts predicted that hamas would actually take the west bank)
2) Hamas rogue operatives acted on their own because they didn't approve of the Unification. (Most likely)
3) Fatah feared it would lose the west bank due to the unification and needed a way out. (I would say that's a good motive, but too conspiracy theory)
4) Hamas corrupted leadership and affiliates were made millionaires for the tunnels smuggling industry and they can't have israel letting cargo enter freely.  this is also a conspiracy theory, but one that several ex-hamas operatives have stated. its profitable for them to be isolated.

Also, Hamas don't always claims responsibility..

424
Well, i initially seen it as an independent action that israel "took advantage of" by blaming hamas, but i am not entirely sure it wasn't actually hamas.

The "Experts" says that the behaviour of the kidnappers after the act resemble Hamas tactics and the two declared kidnappers are tied to hamas. but obviously they could just be scapegoats.

Another also, Israel recently prevented a planned kidnapping that was coordinated by a hamas prisoner in israeli jail as well as several other attempts in the recent year, so they had aspirations in kidnapping more israelis to negotiate (Gilad Shalit release deal was very politically profitable for hamas) and it was reported that the kidnappers, whether operating under hamas orders or not, were definitely assisted by hamas after the act (This was revealed by hamas sources to journalists, although, it could also just be a propaganda)

Democratically elected is a term devoid of any substance, especially when the first thing you do after being elected, with the close supervision of mr kalachnikov and his dear little friend gustav, is to throw your political rivals off the rooftops. Assad was also democratically elected, so what?

Past terrorists? i fail to see how kidnapping and killing 3 teenagers is not considered a terrorist act.

Hamas and ISIS share many goals, the most prominent is the declaration of an islamic caliphate in the middle east through violent actions. many believe that they share more than the same aspirations and that they have cooperated in Syria and Sinai and perhaps in iraq as well.

426
They tried back in the days, it kinda didn't work for a variety of reasons. Mostly because Nasser was quite the egocentric type.

burningpet, are you really comparing ISIS to a secular resistance movement like Fatah? Or is it yet more of your irony.

Is there a difference between ISIS and Hamas?

Tyrannical and brutal regimes that don't fund anti-Israeli terrorist groups however?

So long as they pay in time?

While the settlements are definitely not legit, israel does not have conquering aspirations, especially not of Islamic countries.

So, iran wants nukes only against an israeli pre-emptive war? the only reason for israel to ever attack iran is to destroy its nukes. so they build nukes so we wont bomb their nukes? sorry, this logic fails me.

In actuality, Iran wants nukes because Iran does have imperial aspirations in the middle east.

428
I believe that ISIS was destined to be formed and gain its power with or without US/Israel/Turkey/whateva aid to the moderates. the sad fact is that only a support for Assad could have kept ISIS down and leave Syria at relative peace. yet obviously Israel will never support a brutal regime that directly finance and train a terrorist group such as hizbulla.

429
Well, Israel's prime minister netanyahu have declared that israel would help Jordan and the Kurds. There were talks about a "military corridor" (The talks are that there's already an aerial corridor) so israeli forces could join the battle against ISIS. if this happens and i'll be asked to draft to go fight islamic nutcases just to protect a slightly different islamic nutcases, i'd burn my uniforms and reject drafting.

Well, what did you mean by

if they preceded Iran/Iraq/syria with their Caliphate, then they deserve that country.

then? Actually I'm not sure I understand your last two messages.

Sarcasm. what makes ISIS different than Hamas or Fatah?

430
Well, burninpet is Israeli, so I guess the whole "We were there 2000 years ago so this is my state now" make sense to him.

No, it doesn't. but so is giving a terrorist party a state doesn't really makes sense to me.

431
I think they should get the U.N to recognize their state. if they preceded Iran/Iraq/syria with their Caliphate, then they deserve that country.

Looks extremely good, and as i said in a reply on tweeter, i would have no problem at all if they ditched the Actiony part and leave as an exploration game where you just get to see those creatures and the world live and interact with each other. a sort of digital ant farm.

Sensei, My art director insists upon them so that we can offer multiple views of the same weapon in the store/catalog menu. Since looking at weapons is a big part of the attraction to a game like this, he felt that it was important to show. I wanted to spare no expense to deliver a good experience so I acquiesced.

I am not entirely convinced this is so critical. although extremely cool, i am not sure this will cause people to either buy the game or recommend it and with that time and expenses investment, you could practically insert double the weapons, which will be more appreciated if that means more obscure weapons.

You argue parts of the Qur'an, whilst saying parts of the bible are fine. I can guarantee you that nearly all 'real' Christians don't abide by the bible 100%(VERY hard given all the 'You can X, you cannot X, but you can now X' things in it). Same for most religions and their holy texts and general tenets.

I also think some parts of the quran are fine, some parts of the bible are fine and most parts of the Pali canon are fine, yet i don't think judaism, christianity or mainstream buddhism is fine. the misgivings of buddhism is currently limited to buddhists themselves (for example, the stupid tradition of feeding buddha statues that cost those poor countries hundreds of millions of dollars a year) so i am not forcefully preaching against it as i do against islam. christianity as a religion wasn't a source for mass violence in recent years, and i am pretty sure its popularity is in decline so its not critical for me to preach against it. judaism is too small and is not a religion that aims to convert, but islam is on the rise and preach for violent conversion of the whole world. it was a cause for violence since the very first day of its inception.

Quote
Yes, stonings happen. Public executions happen. All that stuff happened in other countries. Not saying they can get away with it, nor that it's fine, but before you go on about how violent Islam is, remember how violent other countries were, or STILL ARE.

There are many causes for evil and violence in the world and all of them should be stopped, so? islam is currently the biggest cause and affects me directly so obviously i would talk about it and preach against it.

435
If i am not mistaken, the new testimony clearly says you can eat everything. but yes, if a jew eats pork, he is not a real jew (Although, judaism can be considered both a religion and ethnicity).

And in that particular case, the woman was preaching for hijab while maintaining her hate speech toward the western culture. so while you actually can pick and choose from the books, you can't choose the women oppressive parts, call out on the western attitude toward women and call yourself a feminist. that is a very very familiar trait that i see more and more happen in islamic social media in regarding to women, to freedom of speech, to freedom of thought and many other things.

"Men are the maintainers of women because Allah has made some of them to excel others and because they spend out of their property; the good women are therefore obedient, guarding the unseen as Allah has guarded; and (as to) those on whose part you fear desertion(committing a religious sin), admonish them, and leave them alone in the sleeping-places and beat them; then if they obey you, do not seek a way against them; surely Allah is High, Great.

—Qur'an , [Quran 4:34]"

Islam, by its creator definition, cannot embrace feminism.

And while you might not be a real christian, you probably wont be beheaded for that by other christians, which is not something you can safely say about islamic countries. just see how many muslim women are getting killed by their brothers or fathers in israel because they do not comfort to the real ways of islam. if its happening in israel, a developed western state, you can bet it happens in every islamic country and will happen in every islamic society. although, i guess in the other countries the people are so terrorized they can't even imagine going against their own religion.

My main point is that "freedom of speech" is sort of an intellectual entity (Not in the Intellecutal property context) and therefore should protect it self against forces that are preaching the exact opposite, even if by doing so they violate their own main agenda. just like a man has the right to defend himself, even while preaching non-violence.
