Alpha mod, has glitches. Is anybody surprised?

Anyways, a few days ago I was playing Thief Deadly Shadows and after attacking a guard I somehow got stuck flying, I could no longer lean or go up stairs but I wasn't making stepping noises, so it was a bit of a glitch helping me.

Asurans are cute, but  @#!*% , why do most of the female hairs look so ugly? :( (Not the one I picked; it's one of the few that don't look terrible)

While not a FPS, Guild Wars 2 has ABCE, and dashes of F. It's kind of stylized, but I would say that overall it looks fairly realistic

Orcs Must Die! has a demo, and if you enjoyed that I would recommend you pick it up during the upcoming steam summer sale, you'll probably be able to pick it up with all the DLC for 5$.

I'm not entering, but I just want to thank you for doing this giveaway, the community has been really generous lately. :D

My favorite Sci-fi author though is Orson Scott Card, but not for Ender's Game. The books that I really love him for are the Shadow books.

Two games, both of them tactical space battle games.

The first one is much newer, Flotilla, which is a fairly silly but tactical game. Each game lasts only a few hours, and it's completely randomly generated each time.

The second is much older, all the way back from 1989, which is Begin 2, a highly detailed Star Trek tactical tick based game, where you have to give each ship commands through text, and although it was apparently shareware, the only download I can find is from Home of the Underdogs, so I'm not sure I should link it.

But I do agree with you, I would love to see some real web based virtual pets, along the lines of the Creatures games, not just "Click my egg to make it grow" E-peen popularity contests.

So I installed XRM, but now the AI voice isn't working anymore and some of the ships and subtitles have what looks like their data location instead of what they should have, any idea what could be going on?

If they can strike a sweet spot combining elements from UO, DAOC, Wurm, and EVE then they could have a winner on their hands, but with four years estimated before release it's too early for them to have anything to back up their promises that a good game will emerge.
