Yeah it seems they made all mandatory bosses relatively easy and the optional ones hard, generally speaking. Probably to increase accessibility and all that nonsense. Final boss was especially anticlimatic for this reason, a real let down.

Vigor is always my highest stat and the first one I raise considerably, so below 15 definatly seems extremely low to me. Maybe champion covenant simply makes that a necesity for me though, to not get one shot by everything.
If your faith and attunement are high like that I guess you could run a lightning weapons and some miracles if you're not doing that already. Sun blade and sacred oath are both good for a melee build, or you can get some heals or ranged dmg. Miracles are probably the most versatile of the magics.

I finished up my game with my dual club dude, oh that second last fight

I just raised my fire resist absurdly high. Burr+flash sweat+ring+water+fire resist armor made me take next to no damage from walking there. I imagine a high lv pyromancy flame helps with that though.

General Discussion / Re: Shit, let's be FEET

You Are A: True Neutral Half-Orc Druid Ranger, Follower Of Silvanus

Alignment: True Neutral characters are very rare. They believe that balance is the most important thing, and will not side with any other force. They will do whatever is necessary to preserve that balance, even if it means switching allegiances suddenly.

Race: Half-Orcs are a cross between a human and an orc. Generally, this kind of mating does not occur willingly, so half-orcs are almost never raised by a full set of parents. They tend to be less intelligent and attractive than humans, but are generally stronger and hardier. Violence is a part of their nature, and few half-orcs manage to overcome this to follow other professions. They are generally treated with disdain by other races, if not outright hostility.

Primary Class: Druids are a special variety of Cleric who serves the Earth, and can call upon the power in the earth to accomplish their goals. They tend to be somewhat fanatical about defending natural settings.

Secondary Class: Rangers are the defenders of nature and the elements. They are in tune with the Earth, and work to keep it safe and healthy.

Deity: Silvanus is the True Neutral god of nature. He is also known as the Patron of Druids. His followers believe in the perfect balance of nature, and believe that nature's bounty is preferable to any other 'civilizing' method. They wear leather or metallic scale mail, constructed of leaf-shaped scales. Silvanus's symbol is an oak leaf.

Well, it just so happens that I have 26 strength. With just a few more I could try this! Except... where can one get another "Greatsword"?

Also, found Straid. Should I get the Dragonrider Twinblade, or the Bow? I kinda want a good twinblade, since they seem like they'd be great for applying bleed or poison, but I don't know how good either of them is.

In my opinion having tested the regular twinblade, the moveset isn't great. To get all those hits in you need to be pretty darn close to your opponent, and the attacks tend to push them away, killing long combos.
Decent weapon to apply bleed or poison though, but if you're going for that you should get the curved twinblade wich has excelent dex scaling. Dragonrider twinblade is decent enough with a magic enchantment, but there's better weapons imo.
There's also the coolness factor of it being a freaking twinblade.

The moveset with the dual ultra greatsword is you keep them parallel and swing them either horizontally or verticaly with the power attack. There is the minor detail than you are out of stamina in 2 hits though. Screenshot here to illustrate.
Now just get two king ultra greatswords and you're set for destruction. What's a 75 strength requirement anyway.  :P

Dual ultra greatsword sounds mental. It's crazy how a person can even swing such a giant hunk of metal, but two at the same time? What kind of moveset does that even have?

You guys up for some lore discussion? I've been pondering the story, and there's a couple of things that elude me.

Warning, major spoilers.

Life Advice / Re: A Deficit in Abstract Thinking?

I'm just curious, why do I get a lack of response?
If I can be honest, reading your opening post and thread title I didn't quite get what you were trying to convey. Your words are quite mystifying to me! Can't quite understand what you need help with, other than general 'dealing with stuff'?

I mean I could go by your being diagnosed with AS and aproximate what might be your problem but I hate it when people are reduced to a label so I won't. So yeah I don't know, can't wrap my head around it.

P.S. Myself diagnosed by slight autism at some point. But that person was an idiot so meh.

It's a bit of a long winded rant but the facts are there. Elemental weapons >> physical weapons. What's the point of getting either str or dex, if going elemental nets you more weapon damage and strong spells on top of that. It is indeed rather backwards.

147
The gutter seemed...weird I don't know. You can tell they wanted it to resemble upper blighttown, but the design didn't make much sense to me. The dark and the resounding heartbeat gave it a cool atmosphere though.

I just wonder what's up with all the wooden furniture encased in the murky stalagmites. Why did the people of drangleic throw all that stuff down there.  :o
Also there has to be a story behind those statues. Those darn statues. They appear in smaller number at the doors of pharros to. Why were they thrown down there to be forgotten. Has to be some meaning to them!

148
No no, it appears dex scales up damage only half as fast as str. The upside it also increases poison and bleed. Even with a good dex scaling weapon, the damage increase isn't stellar.

149
Well I figured out why I was doing so badly with this character. Apparently dex scaling is awful now, unless you decide to go for bleed or poison? Blegh, seems awfully restricting. Honestly dex heavy setups seem kinda gimped this way.

Oh well I have a soul vessel, I can try something completely different. I heard mundane weapons are lulzy, think I'll try that.  :D

Could really use some advice to kill this boss. God damn am I struggling on this one every time...
