I'm in year 3 or 4 after embark, and I've just noticed that one of my dwarves is laying unconcious in bed, with a leg missing and almsot every body part wounded yellow.  He's also wearing over 10 pages of rings/amulets/etc.
I can't get my doctor to examine him, for whatever reason, and there is no combat log of him ever sustaining those injuries.
I'm also not sure if its a bug in Masterwork, or in dwarf fort in general; I can't find any posting of it elsewhere (though the search function is rather terrible)

I wonder if candy counts as a stone...

Its unfortunate blood isn't a true liquid like water/magma, or you could create blood 'water'falls at major intersections, sating vampire's need for blood and giving dwarves a happy thought at the same time for the fact its a waterfall (bloodfall).

See, I tried that; assign all my dwarves to in inside burrow so they're never out in the rain.  The thing is they're injured immediately upon embark, and even when protected from the rain underground, they remain injured/afflicted and eventually die.

As far as I know there's no stockpile option for blood.  The closest thing is 'extracts'/'venoms'/'milk'  under "creature (extract)"  under  "food".

Try  Refuse>Item Types>(disable all except)Liquid
I'm not sure if blood falls under that though.

So I'm having a bit of trouble at the moment.  I'm attempting to embark on a terrifying site, which happens to rain pungent goo, that immediately and permanently bruises every bit of each of my dwarves.  I've attempted to dig underground, and move all my dwarves there immediately, but they all still succumb to this plague before even a month has passed.  (I think its mostly because every part of their body is bruised/injured when the goo hits them, including their spine/brain/lungs/etc)

I've tried 2 or 3 times now in this area, all of which had the same luck.

Is there anyway to heal my dwarves of this plague if I have them out of the rain?  Any other suggestions?

Dig the whole channel out directing the flow, do NOT MINE OUT THE LAST TILE BLOCKING THE MAGMA.  Place a floodgate at the end (near the magma) and attach it to a lever.
Have your miner/engraver dig/fortification the tile, and while he's working, assign something elsewhere to be dug/fortification'ed.  I've never lost anyone tapping a magma source.

Not everyone has as huge a monitor as you do, please crop your screenshots to the relevant 1% of it and not the 99% irrelevant part of it
Are you honestly telling me your monitor doesn't even do 1024x768?
Time for an upgrade I think.  This isn't 2002 any more.

You should flood the map with magma.  The obsidian will stop all that water from escaping.

Yes, when magma enters a square adjacent to ice, the ice melts (you can do this through floors as a form of anti-freeze)  If there is nothing between the two squares (as in, there is a square of magma next to a square of ice), it will then form obsidian when the two touch.

Soil which is dropped multiple z levels becomes a random material.  It has always been this way in 31.x if I remember correctly.

No clue then.  I've never payed enough attention to actually see dwarves feeding the wounded.
You're saying you have 250 food under the [z] stocks menu?  Is it possible they need a specific kind of food for feeding wounded patients?

Why are your dwarves trying to give food to something?

That's the square of magma that's being moved around.  You can't see it when water is used because the mist blocks your view.
