General Discussion / Re: What. The. Hell.

We have a thread for that.
This one appears to be on the front page, however. And only the words "what the hell" are in the title. Sorry if he wasn't specific?

While we're on the subject of "what the hell," here's a video for you (non cow-related):

I have another one that's somewhat long and fairly disturbing (not to mention horrible animation, voice acting and definitely NSFW) but I'll save it for later.

Loving Ezreal.

Even with the nerfs, Vlad is still horribly overpowered in a 1v1 lane, though I had some early issues with a highly aggressive Vayne Qing me every chance she could. At least, until level 9...

nVamp has proven too long winded for me to install, but I got a few good ideas for other mods from the parts that compose it. Also wasn't digging the huge number of people saying that it was more or less unplayable because of its overambitious number of mods.

You do not want either of the two DLC's. They are boring, worthless, add basically nothing other than random irrelevant bits to the story. They do not add any thing remarkable or interesting in any way, and both so far have just left me wondering how it is they could put so little effort into making the DLC when compared to the DLC for Fallout 3.
I felt the stories were better written and the choices had more of an impact; the "wrap everyone's story up" thing that Fallout 1/2 had going for it was definitely present. The DLC did feel a bit shorter than the Fallout 3 ones, but it wasn't quite as ridiculous (Aliens? Really?) and they have more of an epic feel. The tie-ins with other DLC, and the buildup for what looks like is going to be an epic confrontation between you and the asshole who didn't take the original package, definitely feels worth it.

It does kinda annoy me that you still can't finish the Hoover Dam battle, but I do understand the reasoning behind it (that they want to preserve the "final" ending with your choices).

I'm fairly bored with my New Vegas mod pack (and beat Honest Hearts with my limited selection), so I decided to take a look at this nVamp. Reading through the directions, I saw Wrye Bash's New Vegas version on the install list (along with Wrye Python, which I have installed). Is there any more to it than simply dropping it into the Data folder? There's no applicable readme, and it's even less intuitive than the Oblivion version.

A little help here? This is a long term project, so far as setting everything up (which I took a good half-hour to get through the first few steps as it was, so I'm getting back into the download-install-wait rhythm I so hated myself for while playing Morrowind and Oblivion)

The counter/petition originally in the OP has doubled since I signed it... 150k to 300k+.

It's kind of amazing, in a way. For an internet petition.

Redigit really needs to work on getting server software stable and getting admin stuff in.
Especially the ZOOOOOOOOMY time thing fixed.
On multiplayer? If not, try selecting the "Frame Skip" option while playing fullscreen... I had this issue until I played with it a bit.

The main problem I have with most of these "create life with x y and z" arguments is that it only considers what kind of life we can create ourselves, that can exist on this planet. Life as we know it, if you will. We don't really know what millions of years of evolution could bring on a planet, because even a tiny change back along the line could have deemed us fit to have a third hand, or be blue. Nor do we know (aside from a few small examples) what kind of chemical reactions can go through on other planets, what anaerobic life can evolve into beyond simple bacteria, and other extremes, such as organisms that thrive on elements other than water and oxygen.

My point being is that we have a very limited worldview at the moment, and don't really know what could have happened on other planets in terms of life, regardless of whether they have space travel capabilities or not.

Is it worth sunflowering the corruption?
It just stops corruption from spreading, nothing more, nothing less.

and close attention ought be paid to events in the PRC. This can either pitter patter out and be completely forgotten

Considering the PRC's stranglehold on any information leaving the country, it's amazing we heard anything at all.

I've been starting my builds more and more with Philo stones, the staying power is ridicilous sometimes allowing me to shrug off all but the nastiest harrassers.

Also been playing Nasus lately, for some reason my Q last hitting is going trough the roof lately, heck most games i end up with more creep kills than anyone else, even our mid carry :)

Critting for 1k before 18 with a full set of items is a joy like no other. Not to mention hitting for roughly 500 on a tower every 3 seconds.

Signed in a heartbeat.

People should be able to do what they want, really. Regulating drugs in general much as we do alcohol or tobacco would be a step in the right direction. By criminalizing it, we spend far too much money on trying to keep it down, while it simply leaks throughout the world, regardless of what laws are in place to stop it.

This seems relevant to Bay12's interests.

It's like the Noah's Arc Doomsday Clock!
:/ I can't get it working. I lose water on every trip.
Looking at the forum it doesn't look like many others are having luck with this.

I want to make a house mostly (or completely) made of glass with obsidian as the walls/main structure, and lava as the ambient lighting (showing through the glass floor) that the entire house is suspended over.
