My dwarves suddenly stopped using barrels for my food stock piles. Is this a mod issue (I'm using genesis), a new vanill bug, or am I doing something wrong. I have empty barrels in my stockpile and they aren't forbidden. Also they were using barrels before and food that's in the barrels stays in the barrels but no new food is being put into barrels. Which is really annoying with the mountains of tallow I have.

What about some kind of reaction involving an extract from a rare plant only found in the lower caverns that you cannot grow? And you use the extract to make a metal like bar from ground up regular stone. Maybe with properties somewhere between copper and iron.

All pots seemed to be bugged in capacity. Also you can easily make rock pots at a craftdwarf workshop with the same capabilities.

Easy. Cave-ins. You drop a brick wall on the enemy. Literally.

Brick walls deconstruct instead of caving in.  But good idea.

Constructed walls still kill things beneath them.

The deconstruction is really a bonus because it's easier to rebuild the trap then.

If you're using a civilian defense force consider giving the civies less equipment than your regulars. A mail shirt, breastplate, helm, and greaves is more than most conscripted forces would have ever had and with the weapon is only 5 bars per dwarf. Why must everything be masterwork?

EDIT: Maybe goblin numbers need to be toned down then. Where are they all coming from? And why?

I had a civ with no anvils whatsoever. I looked and looked but there was not even an anvil section.

Honestly feeling you need 1k steel as a minimum is kinda ridiculous. Maybe that's ideal. But where is the fun in always having your ideal resources and more to spare?

Is there any way to modify the time an activity takes to be based less on the skill level? So a legendary dwarf only works say twice as fast as a proficient dwarf who works twice as fast as a dabbling dwarf. I would especially like to mod mining to be slower overall but especially for legendary dwarves. Also I would like many tasks to take longer in general but especially for high skill dwarves. I don't want dwarves to walk any slower however.
