Pancakes for everyone!

My only real issue with the wolf drawing is that the shack is way off to one side and it makes everything feel a little unbalanced to me - but I'm certainly no pro or anything.

I stand by larger value range for depth though. At least really dark shadows.

Well that was fast. Have some fake-ass pancakes!

Hopefully that means I made it at least somewhat recognizable.

I can dig it, but I think toning down the halo of light around the torch would help the mood out a tiny bit.

Unrelated, I've decided to push my boundaries a little and do some digi-paintings for family members this Christmas. Here's what I've got so far on one of them:

Free internet pancakes* to the first person who guesses what else is going in.

*Internet pancakes are like regular pancakes with the small difference that they don't exist.

Oric and Ciro are actually putting on an elaborate play in order to appease the secret third sibling, Rico, who would otherwise destroy them.

Oric: Awesome
Ciro: OK
Rico: Suave

I'm old enough to get that one. Just kill me now.

Ah, I was thinking of Pay $1 to climb rocks. It lets you jump from higher up, I think that's where I got that.

You can also Pay to be able to headshot, apparently. Or Pay for a silencer. Even Pay for target highlighting?

But then you deal with the smell of burnt rotten jam... or ketchup. Or *shudder* milk.

Heh. Remember the tomb raider DLC that basically unlocked jumping? Yeahhhhhh....

Mind blast, win by turn 4. Fun and interactive.

Endless Legend was a real let-down just because of the non-effort they put into the AI. No races even use their racials and the comp cheats so bad that taking their territories actually punishes you. Just a caveat emptor.

There was a mod for FO3 (and probably NV, I don't remember) called Explosive Entry that let you apply your explosives skill and weapons toward breaching locked doors and safes, with the risk that you destroyed the items inside. The [Requires a Key] locks couldn't be blown, so you couldn't bypass quests, and it was pretty safe to just nuke doors open, but I thought the janky alternative to lockpicking was very fitting, and trying to bypass 100-skills would almost guarantee their destruction, so it wasn't a perfect 2-for-1 substitute.

Shame the better all-around explosives weapons are plagued by bugs that the construction kit can't fix.

I like the basic idea, but it could use some more range in values and a tweaked composition. There's no real focal point aside from the wolf, and it's not really "saying" much. Great mood, though.

Someday when I have more motivation I'm going to infiltrate a project, attain leadership positions, and just naysay everything using insane troll logic. I've seen it happen too many times to believe it doesn't work.

Yeah +1 to the icewind dales. pretty fun dungeon crawlers.

The ... flowing water one was absolutely brutal with a Rising Sun. One-shot hulks brutal, once you got the skill.

Edit: Niten Ichi-Ryu

Doublepost necro across the sky! yeah yeah yeah... so intense

I picked up SPAZ 2 on sale last week and have been compulsively addicted to it ever since.

Pleasantly surprised to see how much stuff is workable, and that Expert difficulty is honest and doesn't use inflated numbers for enemy ships or a cheaty economy.

After trying snipers, carriers, and gunships I'm working on a miner-nose armored ramming ship. Charge across the map to slam into the enemy and snap its spine. And you get rewarded for it with their ship parts, more often than not. Amazing.
