Not sure, I migrated it over with no apparent problems. The .11 and .12 releases didn't seem to change the .10 raws, so you should be safe to copy everything over...
Not sure if you're aware of this guys, but some tiles are a little too obscured when tagged for digging. Below shows some schist rock which is almost entirely black and thus blends with the floor tiles. At a glance it's hard to tell what's what (you can also see in the pic some gems which are simply black and don't stand out as being tagged at all).
'Unseen' rock is fine, because it takes the full opacity tagged tile. And I love the gold glowing effect which shows when a tile becomes the active job.
Is there any way to just make known rock take a high opacity brown overlay?
Does world size, as opposed to embark size, affect FPS now?
Whoa, that one is weird. Yeah, the game doesn't always seem to handle embarking on top of a brook very well. (Or placing a cave on one, for that matter -- it scuttled a generated cave that was on top of a brok, scattering EVERYTHING inside it all over the place on the surface. I like to imagine some seriously confused ettins wandering about. Where cave go?)
On the one I posted about, yeah, that puppy generates really slowly (especially if you do it with 80 civs and Dwarf Chocolate!) I put up a pregenerated version that uses the Ironhand graphics, so, if yar enterested, 'ere it is! Link

Hey, MiniMacker, I'm not sure if it's exactly what you're looking for, but your post actually inspired me to post the details of [what I think is] a pretty awesome worldgen/embark site. Well, the worldgen is pretty unremarkable in itself, but the site is great. I posted about it here -- check it out if you like.

(If you are interested, given your comments about your computer's executability, I'd be happy to put a pre-genned copy of the world up for download.)
Have them all stuffed in a cage out front, with a lever that releases them. However, upon release, they all ran into the trade depot, or around the enemy. Bob the war tiger found his prey, though. (War tigers can be trained w/o dungeon master for some reason.)I'm still very new to the game, so could I ask how you put pets into cages?
We need a volunteer to post that link everyI got this page!secondtime we hit a new thread page.
Why isn't the latest version of DF supported yet?
Mapping New Versions of DF
Edit: not directed at you MiniMacker ... just having fun with this
If you're quite brave and willing to get your hands a bit dirty you can try this method to add support for a new version of DF.
