Thankfully, environmental deaths (such as magma, water, gravity) are beyond reproach.

Give the sucker some flying lessons.

I was recently presented with a moral choice in the game: weapon smith had a mood going and needed leather and I had none, and no hunting, no cages.
and no traders due for another season, and 40 puppies yapping happilly to see me...

So now I have a tin crossbow with a dog leather glaze, 38 puppies yapping happilly and one that growls when I get near.

I'm sorry little fella, but if you don't stop growling at me, you're next!

And so we go down the slippery slope into true evil, one choice at a time
Well the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

And in this case, puppy leather.

Dear high master Potter,

What the hell is with you and that human who trained giant capybaras? I mean really, nine out of ten statues that you sculpt are of that  one guy!

Sincerely,
Your overseer.

Wow, that panda-woman sure could run.

And this single dual wield isn't working out like I planned... I guess I'll work on becoming a better shot before I try that again. If only I had two thumbs...

I hate to butt in...

But this must be recorded for posteriorerity.

Now I am TWICE as deadly!

I've been ordered to shoot down a panda-woman in cold blood.

Time to give my single dual wielding a field test!

My masons had once mad a statue of Reg Oilgates, who had an issue with bleeding constantly though she was unwounded and disease-free - and for no apparent reason, considering she was in no way a venerable, honorable, or significant dorf.

Also, I had placed an artifact cabinet inside my noble's room. Directly across the room was engraved upon the wall the visage of that exact cabinet.
I can't quite understand how the redundancy there could be pleasing.

My guess is that the engraver wanted to screw with him.

"Augh carp that is the third time today I've tried to open the gods damned wall!"

This is bullshit!

The newly appointed overseer sent the hammer squad to kill the elf merchants! Is he crazy?!

I didn't even get to go! What. The. CARP.

I need to talk to this guy. Can't let the melee squad steal all the glory!

An excerpt from On the origins of dwarfs.

"Stone detailing/Engraving: Engravers are an odd bunch, perhaps the most innately subversive group in any dwarven fortress. During times of relative calm they enjoy carving things like triangles and mushrooms, perhaps in an attempt to create some sort of weaponized boredom. However, in troubled times they delight in covering every flat surface in an endless array of disturbing images; it's not uncommon for dwarven bedrooms to be adorned with mosaics of the inhabitant’s loved ones being gored by elephants or trampled by goats. Engravers are often described by their peers as “arseholes”."
