I tried to destroy them with cave in but they just flew around, Ill try atomsmashing next!
One weird thing happened, my miner caused cave in and the game said that he was burned by magma, sounds like a bug, probably known but I just wanted to confirm.

I found this interview on Boing Boing very interesting and this nutritional discussion very tiresome.

I wonder how many are going to give DF due to recent events. 

I believe that toady stated his ideas for making farming a giant nightmare somewhere and basically forcing players to buy food from the hilldwarves/trade caravans, unless the players want to dedicate 100% to the farming industry. That sounds like a reasonable way to buff sieges and maybe make cavern African trading posts clutch.

That could make thing a lot more Fun. A mean the current farming isn't too interesting feature, its just something you set to be done in first 15min and then forget about it.  That would make managing foodstocks a proper feature. Can't wait for hilldwarf stuff!

This thread is so ridiculously ridiculous. 

So I realized I have well over 600 copper bars with many more breastplates, shields, and helms waiting to be melted down.  I get some tin off the caravans, but a lot less now that I've got a king, so I have no idea what to do with all this excess copper--any suggestions?

Build temple of copper with copper furniture, floors, statues and all that.

I just got my non copper metal industry going on so thats what im going to do with my copper from now on. My current world is so very poor in iron that even goblinite is copper and few in numbers.
