Every time I try to export my Biome+Site map for legends viewer the game crashes around the 100th to 150th Column, And I dont know why i cant figure it out...  Could any mod iv made do this? what could be messing with it...

And While I am here I would also like to ask, Has anyone experienced the Glitch ware you get a quest to go to a lair only to find the lair doesn't exist? and Iv varified it.... its a problem spanning over a few of my worlds so i know its consistent. and you cant ditch a quest so your stuck with this giant backlog of every other quest dragging you out into the middle of noware.

Mine are cinnamon skinned and green eyed with charcoal hair. Pretty awesome mix in my opinion. As for the standing out and all that, a Dwarf's merits come not from where they were born or the colour of their beard (beard dyes would be amazing though), but their contributions to the Fort. Plus, how else will you notice genetic mutations?
haha... well I went in and added more peach skin tones and others to balence out the perportions.. it seems like the game has like 15 deffrent shades of brown but only like three peach and no skin tones for native american style asian or Polynesian.

Babu was a man from the Windy Desert a place cold harsh land his skin was dark like all men of The Land of Silk (( The Silken Kingdom ))
In one hand a Scimitar and in the other a short sword with a hilt of Ivory with lion bone rings riding up the grip of his blade of silver, His scimitar etched with the image of the moon cycle.

With his cloak and lions pelt hood he took to the east with the wife of the local duke, Running off together they reached a bond to break for lunch upon realizing there rations were low the two decided to hunt for wild game.
Strangers to the east they were shocked and awe to find a Rhino a great beast with a mighty horn jutting from its snout.
His companion the dukes wife let fly from her quiver a arrow hitting the beast in the knee bringing it to the ground.

Taking this chance babu charged the beast stabbing it in the head rending the flesh, The creature lay in pain and fading as babu attempts to deliver a finishing blow.

When just then everything went black!
babu wakes on the other side of the river back fractured on a tree and his teeth scattered around him and blood smearing the grass, After pulling himself with just his arms only a short distance babu would fall unconscious for great lengths of time.

Once the fog in his mind clears babu finds his back has been broke... he will never fight again, his beloved could not be found only a bloody trail leading to the river and a single slipper scattered among broken arrows.

It seems babu had been reckless and the great beast had reared up with its massive horn striking babu in the mouth shattering his teeth and sending him sailing across the river only stopping do to collision with the tree, that is what put him in this state... after this relization he dragged himself back to town and retired...

Well I am impressed!
It was a while since i picked up DF and when I did I was pleased to find that every repeated civilization had 1 skin color and hair color or Eye color.
Thus making each country its own ethnic group, Dark skinned brown haired gray eyed people from the mountains discovering the pale skinned blond haired blue eyed civilization in the Desert or Steppes!
This is neat and all but my only gripe is when you make a fortress your people don't stand out as much... I once had a dwarf with a bright red beared and pale skin and named him fire beard! but he was only unique cause he was surrounded by many others each with there own contributing features.

How should I say this... all your dog breeds are one creature, with different castes...this means that your bulldogs will give birth to spitz and your chihuahua give birth to mastiffs... and so forth.

You have to make one seperate creature for each dog race.

yes but if i made them each there own species they wouldnt be able to mix breed at all and in reality if a chihuahua can figure out how to get up there they could make a puppy.
but i do see the problem but i cant see a better salution to be honest... if thy are all there own species your dogs breeding would be alot less common as it will be harder to find that pure bred mate.

perhaps one day i will release a optional download to seperate casts from full creatures for those who cant overlook this little abomination.

this did cross my mind but I rationalizes it like this!
In real life a chihuahua can mix bread with a mastiff it is 100% possible if they were to mate... a tragic process as it is but it is possible.
and since Df animals don't list both parents as marital status is not required for domestic pets when your mastiff gives births to a corgi pup we can only assume your dog found a corgi male and figured out the mechanics for themselves.

What I was tired of was the basic multicolored mutts they have in DF, The dogs with white ears black paws brown head and gold tales... they make no sense ans really frustrated me.

So I started modding it to give them solid colors but then decided to go a step farther.
why cant the dogs take on many shapes and sized?

While I was modding I decided that it was important to keep this lore friendly.
however I had to use real world dog breeds to preserve a mental image.
so as a compromise I listed the greater breeds of dogs, thus dodging any reference to real world locations.
for example -  I would not be using a germane Shepherd since clearly it states Germany, 

The list of dogs is available.

Hello! I was wondering I am tryiong to make all creatures in the game available for pet and taming so if i catch it i can tame it... but I dont feel like sifting threw the entire thing one at a time adding it so I was looking for a Token all creatures have that I can use to replace all mention of that token with the appropriot pet tokens and of course returning the token.

anyway I was thinking larg roaming can anyone garente for me all creatures have this? with exception of vermin

I only have hounds and mastiffs for now. I felt like naming breeds as real-life counterparts would be weird in fantasy game.

Post-Apocalypse mod has different dog types too.
^ ^  hey Deon we talked before... anyway so you only have two breeds? i wanna make it so there are casts for like many many many species

All of the things you are asking for have been at least partially completed, and will be in the next release.  However, they are not in the currently available version.  I couldn't possibly guess when the new release will be out. 

If you are looking for something to try now, you could get Genesis Mod, or look through the many other choices in the mods section .  Of course none of these implements other civs in the way that Toady has been working on for the next release, but many of them (and definitely Genesis mod) try to fix other civs as well as can be done with modding.

If you're interested in other civs, you should definitely read through the devlogs for the past few months.  Once this release comes out adventure mode should be infinitely more fun.  In particular, Goblin sites sound like they will be very interesting and challenging to explore.

Thank you for the information but i dont require any of Deons mods, I am a very talented modder with years of experience and the mods I require are usually things I only trust myself to do... not that the others arent amazing mods but just that they tend to go a bit farther then I wish and would like to maintain the essence of DF while making subtle tweeks.

Such as creating Casts to avoid the one solid hair collor and skin collor per civilization... to stop from getting a race of dark skinned blond haired folk I tend to create casts of varriable skin and hair shades.
Or altering the weapon hit descriptions to give a more in depth description in battle without adding overly complex maneuvers.
These are things most modders dont waist there time with and I dont upload cause I dont feel like it and so I need to continually re-create them.

I cant seem to find it but would there happen to be a mod that creates casts for many kinds of dog species or is this somthing I may have to create.
I am not much a fan of the rainbow colored mutts default to the game.
