Other Games / Re: Terraria - It's out! And there's a 4 pack

If any of you guys could do this:
- Go to Kael's new monster arena floating island (the one with hellstone) located at the end of the underground highway.
- Find the house inside
- Destroy the bed

I set my spawn point there and I think that's the reason why I can't connect with that character.

My spawn point is set there as well. I don't know if I can connect or not, I kinda forgot the IP. :P

I'll just leave these here.

I'm going to be building an Ork army sometime in the future. Now I'll need to revamp Squigs with Ork bitz to make them into Hogz.

...and now I'm getting refused connections from 6666 :/

Same. Also, the Public doesn't like it when you fall at full health - you get logged out because the server doesn't allow flying before the Void can do enough damage to kill you. You have to log in a few times to take enough Void damage to die.

Did I mention that I love the pony community? Was talking in the Steam group chat about Minecraft and Terraria, mentioned I did not currently own Terraria, and when I got back from a bathroom break, I had a shiny new copy of Terraria sitting in my gifts box.

Hm, okay. As you suggested, perhaps 34 would work better as a smithy.

EDIT: I'd also like to throw out the idea of 25 becoming a clocktower. I'm not making a formal claim, but I'd like to see a clock tower and 25 looks like a pretty good spot to place it - nice and square, and fairly central to the city.

I used to play. I lost interest a while back - once you hit the point where you have all the Survivor skills and all Zombie skills save Brain Rot and Flesh Rot, the game kinda gets boring and starting a new character isn't much fun, because you're so limited in what you can do.

That said, I have 2 characters: Ozzie Vess, who is/was part of the MCDU, and Inaraikage, who is/was part of the Brainstalker mini-horde.

Most zombie games go for a modern setting because it's more "shocking" to see something you're familiar with, such as people in T-Shirts and jeans, large cities, et cetera turned into something twisted and deformed.  I think the modern setting has been done to death as far as First Person Shooters and Zombie games go, though, since most of them are done using the same formula that's been used the past ten years.  We need something different.

A Steam Punk setting would be awesome for a zombie survival game.  You'd have guns, swords, explosives, blimps, planes, flying cities, robots, and maybe even a coherent plot line!  The cities would be industrialized enough to have lots of access to different supplies, materials, and a broad range of magical doodads, and you expect the protagonist to be good at throwing random stuff together (It's Steam Punk: Everyone's a genius!).  Throw in floating cities, an extensive crafting and skill system, and viola!  Instant success.  I'd totally pre-order a game just based on that premise.

Well. I am planning on going into game design. Mind if I use this concept at some point in the future?

Block 44 has been turned into a shipping and transport company by OJ. Looks good, too.

I'd like to take 43 and turn it into a smithy-type area.

...Henge had a chest?

1031
Aw, seriously? Fine. I'll just go and wreak havoc as...

..Taibhse. No fancy titles, just the old Gaelic word for Ghost. Howzzat? Bit more original, you think?

1032
Welp. This whole Zen serenity thing is getting old. I think I'll go wreak some havoc down on good old Earth.

*A form descends from the sky, shrouded in a mottled grey-and-black cloak*

Let those who oppose me beware, for I am become Death, the Destroyer of Worlds.

I just think this idea doesn't bode well with the city theme. A non-animal more-technical heraldic symbol could be better.

What is/will be the purpose of this part of the city? Should I build roads like the red ones I added on the plan?
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

And as I finished the building of the block n°14 I'm claiming block n°13 to build a sister building.

Well, I'll see what I can do. Maybe a gear?

As for the roads, you should probably log in and look at the terrain in those areas - ingame, it's an extremely steep hill, and the southern roads would be passing right over Underhaven.

5/1

Jeez, you guys really hate this idea, don't you? I just put them in the road as an example of what we could do with them.

1035
So uh.

This is kinda weird. I've found myself in whatever the Zen equivalent of heaven is.

I'm actually digging it, really. Lots of pretty intelligent people, limitless resources to build with, etc. Kinda like Minecraft, except without the denuding of the landscape, the monsters, and the whole pitch-black night thing.
