But yet, they don't have them on embark. I supposed until someone gets some sort of clever idea, I'm going to make them emotionless which will make them not care anyway. but while I'm at this, I'm going to make some armor and see if they wear it.

Well that's interesting. As an experiment I embarked with 7 alpaca wool vests. They all immediately went to Pickup Equipment, but started with nothing else. So I suppose you're going to have to spend a lot on cloth if I don't do the workaround. Clothsmaking would have been important anyway with how fast cats breed. ;p So basically, they wear clothes but don't spawn with any. Very interesting indeed....

All of it's common in the entity. So it must be a matter of size, which I don't know how to mod. Is there a particular ratio?

Edit: Hmmm. I'm not quite sure how to reduce the size of armor. Normally it's automatic right?

With the help of a few people, I've created a mod of dwarf fortress where you play as cats instead of dwarves.
They're still alcohol dependent, and all weapons have been scaled down. There may be balance issue, but we'll work those out as we go along. All mega and semi megabeasts except forgotten beasts/titans are removed for now, because they wipe out entire civs. Normal sentient civs are removed, except for kobolds. The game plays normally for the most part, and there are two hostile civs. No other friendlies right now, but that may change. I've started work on a much harder hostile enemy. Try it out and let me know if you find anything that seems off.

To install, delete your existing raws and replace them. I may or may not do some work to separate the files eventually, but that's probably a bit far off.

Could you send me the cat raws anyway? Somethings preventing the cat civ I made from being controllable. The tag is definitely in there.  Any other requirements I should know of?

Yeah, the first two immigrant waves are guaranteed unfortunately. Any chance of raws, or even just the size values you set the weapons to?

Before the brawly battle, I go to petalburg to fish, because I still have a catch there.

What? A water pokemon living in the water? This is madness!

Marley it is then. I went back to all the routes and grabbed peoples numbers for later. Also, I grinded accordion for a bit and it learned double team. He's still useless of course. The letter is to Steven, who is in the cave. Normally you're supposed to do the cave after the gym, but I think we need some grinding. Also, flash is far less required in this generation because you can see a couple tiles. Besides that, I already know the general cave layout.
Also, you're not missing images, I left blank space to add suspense. Meeting a wild regirock/ice/steel is bad because at low levels they only know explosion. It hasn't happened yet but chances are someones going to die that way.

Here's our first pokemon in the cave.

Guess what happened.

Well, you could be useful. Caught it, named it Copper via RNG.
On a separate note, a wild tauros nearly killed half my team.

The fighting Gym (which is the second one by the way) should be relatively easy with all the psychic and flying on this team. Joe too obviously, because Joe is Joe. You never know though.

Well, evidently it didn't put the jump gates on despite me choosing the option. Well, just gonna build jump gates then, because I don't feel like making jump ships just to explore systems one move away. I'll build jump ships when my drive technology isn't absolutely horrendous to not waste resources and time.
